Job description

GOOGLE ADS MANAGERS — 3 POSITIONS OPEN Full-Time | Fully Remote | South Africa Entry Level | Mid Level | Senior Level

Are you a Google Ads specialist who genuinely understands the platform — not just someone who's spent time clicking around inside it?

We're growing our team and looking to fill three Google Ads Manager positions — one entry level, one mid level and one senior level. The entry-level and mid-level roles are behind-the-scenes, non-client-facing positions, while the senior-level role is client-facing. Across all three, you'll be assigned to one of our agency partners and take ownership of a portfolio of around 10–20 Google Ads accounts.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

● Reviewing and refining search terms, and managing negative keywords

● Identifying new keyword opportunities

● Monitoring campaign, keyword and conversion performance

● Maintaining and improving ad copy, keeping Responsive Search Ads at Excellent strength

● Reviewing budgets and bidding strategies

● Monitoring cost per conversion and flagging issues or opportunities

● Keeping accounts organised, optimised and well maintained

For larger projects — new campaign builds, account restructures, Enhanced Conversions, Performance Max builds — you'll flag these to your manager, and your workload will be adjusted so you have the time to do them properly.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We care far more about how you think than how long your CV is. You should:

● Have a strong practical understanding of Google Ads, including Search and Performance Max

● Understand keyword match types, search term optimisation and negative keyword management

● Understand bidding strategies and conversion tracking

● Be able to identify problems and opportunities independently

● Be highly organised with strong attention to detail

● Be comfortable managing multiple accounts and working without constant direction

THE INTERVIEW Expect detailed, practical questions on campaign structure, keyword strategy, bidding, budget allocation and diagnosing poor performance — plus a live scenario where you'll walk us through how you'd structure and run a new account. No rehearsed answers needed; we want to see how you actually think.

WORKING HOURS Flexible, fully remote — with good availability during UK working hours to stay connected with the wider team. I

SALARY & PROGRESSION Salary is dependent on experience level, ability and the complexity of accounts you can confidently manage. We pay towards the top of the applicable range for strong, independent performers. Clear progression path into a Google Ads Manager / Team Manager role, taking on account strategy, mentoring and oversight of parts of the team as we grow.

Sound like you? We'd love to hear from you.
