Your Responsibilities as an Environmental Technician 3: 

  • Perform soil, groundwater, waste water, and stormwater sampling, site inspections, and other data collection 
  • Perform remediation system operations and maintenance 
  • Maintain field notes and prepare summary trip reports of field activities
  • Observe safe work practices 

What we're looking for: 

  • GED or High School diploma 
  • 8-12 years of experience
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification 
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently to achieve specified tasks
  • Stable employment history and favorable employment references 
  • Track record of excellent attendance and punctuality 
  • Own reliable transportation 
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Good safety record and understanding of safe work practices 
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and work under inclement weather conditions 
  • Up to 100% travel performing site inspections, O&M, and/or field sampling at multiple sites throughout the South Atlantic territory 
  • Sponsorship not available now or in the future.
