Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a collaborative, high-performing engineering team responsible for developing and enhancing a modern SaaS platform utilized by financial institutions across North America.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys building scalable applications, influencing technical direction, mentoring team members, and leveraging AI-assisted development practices to deliver impactful business outcomes.
While this is a fully remote position, candidates located in Ontario, Canada are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications in a cloud-native environment.
- Collaborate closely with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Build and maintain modern APIs, backend services, and user-facing applications.
- Contribute to architecture decisions and promote engineering best practices across the organization.
- Develop and document reusable patterns, frameworks, and reference implementations.
- Mentor and support fellow engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Participate in code reviews and champion high standards for software quality.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, quality, and delivery outcomes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and advocate for automated testing practices throughout the software lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production applications.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong expertise in C# and ASP.NET development.
- Experience building full-stack applications using MVC frameworks and modern architectural patterns.
- Proficiency with React and modern frontend development practices.
- Experience working with:
- Microsoft SQL Server
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
- ORM frameworks
- Strong understanding of:
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience with:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Source control and DevOps practices
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership initiatives.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within distributed teams.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: CAD $110,000 - $150,000
In addition, the selected candidate may be eligible for:
