About the project

We're looking for an experienced D365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) Functional Analyst to join a global implementation and stabilization initiative. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys both building new solutions and cleaning up existing ones — you'll work across a multi-country, multi-legal-entity environment, helping the business get the most out of standard D365 functionality while reducing unnecessary customization.

What you’ll do

  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand their processes, pain points, and goals
  • Use Microsoft's standard D365 F&SCM functionality as your baseline — performing fit-to-standard and fit-gap analysis to find the best path forward
  • Dig into existing configurations and customizations to understand what they do, why they exist, and whether they're still needed
  • Present clear solution options to stakeholders — including your recommendation, alternatives considered, and the tradeoffs involved
  • Configure D365 F&SCM functionality within your assigned modules, and support the full implementation lifecycle from discovery through go-live and stabilization
  • Create clean, implementation-ready functional documentation — requirements, business rules, process flows, and acceptance criteria
  • Act as the functional bridge between business and technical teams, answering questions throughout design, build, testing, and deployment
  • Coordinate or execute testing, and build reusable test cases to support regression testing and automation (including Playwright-based testing)

What makes you a great fit

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a D365 F&SCM or Dynamics AX Functional Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar ERP functional role
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more D365 F&SCM modules or business process areas
  • Experience across multiple phases of D365 F&SCM implementations — requirements, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support
  • Working knowledge of D365 F&SCM integrations, data entities, workflows, security, reporting, and batch processing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas in plain business language
  • A collaborative, personable approach — you're just as comfortable in a stakeholder workshop as you are in a technical design review
