About the Role

The Business Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting our grocery business, partnering closely with the C.A. Carlin Director of Confections on the administrative work that keeps our sales team, client relationships, and retail partnerships running smoothly. From sales presentations to customer forms and system maintenance, you'll be an integral part of the team helping our grocery programs run without a hitch.

Work Location

Remote in ID with the ability to travel to AIC HQ (Boise, Idaho) | Travel 10%

What You'll Do

  • Support the sales team with day-to-day tasks, including building sales presentations and sell sheets, coordinating programs, communicating with clients and team members, and preparing sales data reports
  • Prepare and maintain customer forms, including new item forms, promotional forms, and price increase forms
  • Maintain accuracy and timeliness across Albertsons customer systems
  • Ensure sales materials — samples, sell sheets, specifications, IRCs, and more — are current and readily available to the team
  • Take on additional projects as needed to meet customer and sales team deadlines
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality completion of assigned duties, and provide additional support as sales team and customer deadlines require

What You'll Bring

  • 1–3 years of professional experience in the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry
  • Preferred experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, Albertsons-specific systems and forms (e.g., Albertsons, APP, Periscope, NOPAS/1WS)
  • Understanding of the food and beverage distribution network and retail landscape
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong drive to see tasks through to completion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat

Nice to Have

  • Experience coordinating with distributor partners (e.g., KeHE Distributors) on product setup and promotional plan implementation
  • Prior experience directly supporting an Albertsons-focused sales team

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated base rate range for this role is $22.00/ hour - $31.00/ hour on a 35-hour work week, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
