Data Automation Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Data Consultant for our global manufacturing client on a project basis. This contract role that will assist with the delivery capacity on a portfolio of active and planned automation initiatives is fully remote.

• Design, build, and deploy solutions to improve data quality across the close, consolidation, and financial reporting cycles
• Utilize Microsoft Power Platform CoE Starter Kit, ALM (solutions, managed/unmanaged) and environment strategy
• Create tables using Dataverse and predictive models using AI Builder
• Enhance report dashboards using Power BI
• Schedule desktop flows using Power Automate
• Assist with translating finance business process challenges into technical solutions

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in information technology, computer science, accounting, finance, or other related fields 
• 5+ years of relevant experience delivering automations in a regulated environment 
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platforms required
• 3+ years of prior experience with SQL, Python, and Azure services
• Working knowledge of SOX / ITGC controls and building automations that support audit evidence
• Strong documentation skills including solution design documents, user guides, and runbooks
• Excellent communication skills to interface with senior finance leaders and non-technical process owners 
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S.
