Job description

The opportunity

Are you an accomplished Executive Assistant who thrives on building trusted relationships, anticipating what leaders need, and creating clarity in a complex international environment?

We are looking for a Executive Assistant to partner with our Senior Vice President of Product Quality & Innovation. This is an influential role for someone who combines exceptional executive support with sound judgment, proactive communication, and a genuinely collaborative approach.

You will serve as a trusted extension of the SVP, helping connect priorities, people, and information across an international leadership network. You will also join an experienced EA community where colleagues support one another, exchange best practices, and work together to make the wider organization more effective.

What you will do

  • Build a trusted, highly effective working partnership with the SVP, understanding priorities and anticipating needs.
  • Create the planning, preparation, and structure that allow the SVP to focus on the most important business priorities.
  • Manage a complex international calendar, travel arrangements, meeting preparation, correspondence, expenses, and other executive-level administration.
  • Establish strong relationships across the leadership and EA community, acting as a reliable connection point between the SVP and key stakeholders.
  • Anticipate upcoming meetings and decisions, ensuring that the right stakeholders are engaged and the necessary information is available in advance.
  • Coordinate executive meetings, leadership events, and off-sites, ensuring a seamless experience from planning through execution.
  • Communicate with professionalism, discretion, and good judgment on behalf of the SVP.
  • Work within established company processes and help simplify and continuously improve ways of working.
  • Contribute to an inclusive and collaborative EA community through knowledge sharing, coordination, and peer support.
  • Support selected communications or cross-functional initiatives based on business needs and your individual strengths.

What will help you succeed

  • Significant experience supporting a senior executive in a complex, international organization.
  • Exceptional planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to anticipate needs before they become urgent.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills and the confidence to work with senior leaders across functions and geographies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • A collaborative, service-oriented approach that builds trust and makes it easy for others to engage.
  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to following established policies and processes.
  • Adaptability and composure when priorities change.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related collaboration tools.
  • Availability for occasional domestic and international travel.

Helpful, but not essential

  • Previous experience supporting a C-suite executive or company president.

  • Experience coordinating leadership events, off-sites, or executive programs.

  • Interest or experience in internal communications, special projects, or EA-community development.

  • Familiarity with continuous-improvement principles.

  • Formal project-management experience.

What makes this role different

This is more than a role that manages an executive’s schedule. It is an opportunity to build a close partnership with a senior leader, work across an international stakeholder community, and help improve the flow of information and collaboration across Product Quality & Innovation.

The successful candidate will have the freedom to bring ideas, improve how work gets done, and expand their contribution over time through areas such as leadership events, communications, special initiatives, or EA-community development.

At Veralto, we value diversity and the existence of similarities and differences, both visible and not, found in our workforce, workplace and throughout the markets we serve.  Our associates, customers and shareholders contribute unique and different perspectives as a result of these diverse attributes.
