  • Provide high-quality service to Global Sales partners and Choice franchisees; communicate client requirements, collaborate with sellers on strategy and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate account records and complete inbound and outbound activity using Salesforce, Cvent Transient (Lanyon), email, telephone, and other required systems

Job description

JOB SUMMARY

The RFP Response Team serves as a liaison between corporate and consortia accounts and Choice Hotels properties to help drive revenue and maximize midweek business. The RFP Management Coordinator manages the end-to-end proposal process for an assigned account portfolio, ensuring bid responses are timely, complete, accurate, and aligned with client requirements. The role uses technology, competitive bid strategies, and automation to improve hotel participation, support successful client submissions, and facilitate rate loading. This individual also partners closely with Global Sales, Revenue Management, franchisees, and offshore support teams and has no direct reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

RFP Bid Management: Own the complete RFP lifecycle for an assigned account portfolio, including proposal creation, hotel outreach, solicitations, renegotiations, quality control, submission, and handoff for rate loading while meeting service-level agreements and client deadlines.

Response Program & Automation: Coordinate RFP Response Program and automation activities for the account portfolio; monitor automation and rate-loading reports, resolve or route errors and fallout, and strategically position accounts to maximize successful automated responses.

Stakeholder & Client Service: Provide high-quality service to Global Sales partners and Choice franchisees; communicate client requirements, collaborate with sellers on strategy and deadlines, serve as an RFP process subject matter expert, and act as a liaison during business case season.

Systems & Records: Maintain accurate account records and complete inbound and outbound activity using Salesforce, Cvent Transient (Lanyon), email, telephone, and other required systems.

Continuous Improvement: Maintain procedural support materials, assist with training, and contribute to process improvements, best practices, and solutions that improve service delivery and quality.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Employment Experience

  • Two or more years of experience in sales or customer service required.

  • Hotel, hospitality, or related-industry experience is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Experience with Salesforce and Cvent Transient (Lanyon); experience with Sabre or other RFP tools is highly preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a strong sense of urgency and goal orientation.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and specialized experience preferred.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $55,129- $67,211.
