Qualifications | Who We’re Looking For
Are you an undergraduate Sophomore or Junior student majoring in Agricultural Business, Agronomy, or a related field? Do you have previous experience in agriculture, sales, or farming? If so, we want to hear from you! We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and qualifications:

•Excellent verbal, written communication skills
•Effective presentation skills
•Proficiency in computer technology
•Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
•High standards of customer service; uncompromising integrity and honesty
•Geographical knowledge of the assigned territory and willingness to live in the assigned territory

Key Responsibilities | The Sales Intern will spend the summer embedded with our Sales Regions in West-Central Illinois. Under the supervision of a Region Manager (RM), the Sales Intern is responsible for providing sales support to the region and technical service to customers. Key responsibilities include:

  • Dive into Wyffels Seed Lineup: Discover the innovative range of products we offer and product placement.
  • Develop Your Sales Skills: Enhance your sales techniques and implement effective marketing strategies in our sales territories.
  • Deliver Technical Expertise: Learn how to become a resource for growers and seed representatives.
  • Master Essential Skills: Gain hands-on experience in account planning, time management, and creative problem-solving that will set you apart in your career.
  • Engage in Exciting Events: Help organize and actively participate in vibrant sales and marketing events, connecting with industry professionals and making lasting impressions.
  • Showcase Your Talent: Complete an impactful internship project and present your findings at the program’s conclusion, demonstrating your growth and contributions.
