Group Insurance is seeking an experienced professional to join the Customer Data Management (CDM) Team as a  Business Analyst, Data Exchange. This will be a role customer-facing that requires a unique mix of business and technical expertise within the Service Operations organization. The ability to perform a consultative role to our internal partners within Operations and Distribution as well as our customers and their technology partners is critical to delivering on the key responsibilities of the position.  A successful candidate will possess the ability to work independently on implementations of multiple data exchanges, leveraging already established integration capability as well as custom solutions as the need arises. 

The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Working independently and leading others through complex situations

  • Defining data requirements specific to the customers’ plan design, review data requirements with the customer and offer alternatives for data concerns.

  • Providing feedback for data corrections to meet predefined tolerances for data accuracy.

  • Coordinating activities to complete data loads into the appropriate administration system and promoting the data integrations to production status.

  • Collaborate to solving complex problems by taking a broad perspective to identify solutions.

  • Supporting the installation of Group Insurance customers implementing data integrations byUtilizing already established, strategic, file and non-file based methodologies (SSO / API).

  • Working closely with our internal partners, customers and/or the Third-Party Administrators to define, recommend and implement effective solutions

  • Completing iterative data auditing / testing for completeness and adherence to plan details.

  • Participation in projects and process improvement initiatives that focus on bringing efficiencies to customer onboarding activities

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, including direct interaction with customers and the ability to tailor messages based on the customer needs

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills working on data integration projects

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and cultivate partnerships with Group Insurance customers, their technology partners, TPA's and internal business partners

  • Proven track record of delivering results, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Demonstrated ability to perform data quality assessment and data testing

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize deliverables and drive to solutions

  • Experience with Text, CSV / fixed width file formats required

  • Expertise on Compass Administration system is highly desired

  • Knowledge of Group Insurance products highly desired

  • Experience working on an agile team is highly desired

  • Ability to build new and mature existing business processes to be used by others is highly desired

  • Technical background with Excel / Excel Macros, text file manipulation and SQL to participate on the agile team on projects is highly desired

  • Working knowledge of APIs and SSO highly desired

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $76,000.00 to $125,400.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
