We’re looking for a highly motivated, relationship-driven National Key Account Executive to join our Strategic Accounts team and lead some of our most important customer relationships.  In this highly visible role, you’ll serve as a trusted business partner to key customer stakeholders and executive leaders, developing strategic account plans that strengthen partnerships, uncover new opportunities, and drive sustainable growth. You’ll work across the organization to bring the right resources and solutions to our customers while using market insights, competitive intelligence, and a strong understanding of their business to help shape strategy.  This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys navigating complex organizations, building credibility with senior decision-makers, identifying opportunities others may not see, and turning strong relationships into meaningful business results.


Essential Functions

  • Support onboarding of new and existing customers

  • Formulary Management for existing customers

  • Develop and analyze reporting and KPI for both internal and external presentations and review

  • Prepare and deliver Quarterly and Annual business reviews per the needs of the customer

  • Facilitate customer account needs

  • Grow existing customers through identifying customer needs through new products, technology, software, and clinical/operational procedures

  • Collaborate in partnership with Sales Specialist / Executive, Equipment Sales Specialist, and all other members of the Patterson Dental team

  • Collaborate in partnership with Field sales teams, Branch Team, Regional president, and other key organizational partners

  • Collaborate in partnership with key manufactures

  • Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in sales, business, economics, finance or related major or equivalent education and/or experience.

  • 5 years of experience in account or project management role.


Preferred Requirements

  • Experience working in business-to-business with a field-based sales organization.

  • Industry networking contacts within the North American market.

  • Experience working in a Dental Service Organization.


Skills and Abilities

  • Proven relationship building skills; ability to work creatively and independently to develop strong relationships.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to drive changes within the organization to meet evolving business needs.

  • Excellent communication verbal, written, and presentation skills to internal and external parties at various levels.

  • Strong track record of achieving results individually and through the leadership of others.

  • Commitment to innovation, integrity, and partnership.

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new systems and software.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 30% travel including occasional overnights.

Compensation:

This position is paid on a commission basis.
