Description
The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and executing supply planning strategies that ensure the uninterrupted availability of materials, products, and services to support Elevar's clinical and commercial operations. This role collaborates cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, Finance, and external supply partners to balance supply and demand, optimize inventory levels, and proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks. This is a remote-based position located in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain supply plans to support clinical and commercial product requirements across the supply network
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate demand forecasts into production, inventory, and procurement plans
- Monitor inventory levels and establish appropriate safety stock strategies to ensure continuity of supply while minimizing excess inventory
- Partner with contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs), contract packaging organizations (CPOs), and suppliers to manage production schedules, material availability, and delivery performance
- Track key supply chain metrics, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address supply disruptions
- Coordinate material requirements planning (MRP) activities and ensure timely procurement of raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes through data analysis, scenario planning, and cross-functional collaboration
- Manage supply chain master data and planning parameters within ERP and planning systems to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to support product launches, lifecycle management initiatives, and change control activities
- Analyze inventory trends, forecast accuracy, and supplier performance to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare and communicate supply chain reports, dashboards, and planning recommendations to leadership and business stakeholders
- Support global distribution activities and coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely shipment and receipt of materials and products
- This role may require working outside normal business hours to support global operations and critical supply chain activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
- 8 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, production planning, or related supply chain functions, preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries
- Experience supporting GMP-regulated environments and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical or biotechnology supply chains
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and supply planning tools
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data
- Experience managing relationships with CMOs, suppliers, and logistics providers
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and effectively influence stakeholders across multiple departments
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent) preferred

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $130,000 to $165,000. Final compensation depends on multiple factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skillset, depth and breadth of knowledge, internal equity, and external market factors.
