Description:

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Modeler / Data Architect – Snowflake & Data Warehousing position for our client.

Location: Remote
Duration: 5 months

Duties:

  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

  • Create dimensional and Data Vault models to support data warehousing and analytics.

  • Define and document business entities, attributes, relationships, and data structures using data management tools.

  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.

  • Support data architecture, data engineering, and cloud data warehouse initiatives.

  • Apply data modeling and relational database principles to ensure data quality, consistency, and usability.

Skills:

  • Conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.

  • Dimensional modeling and Data Vault methodologies.

  • Exposure to Snowflake or other cloud data warehousing platforms such as Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery.

  • Basic relational database concepts, including normalization, entity-relationship diagrams, keys, and constraints.

  • Working knowledge of SQL.

  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Healthcare/Medicaid experience is a plus.

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, data modeling, or a related field.

  • Experience developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

  • Experience clearly defining business entities and related attributes using data management tools.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $45.00 to $50.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
