JLL - Regional Reliability Program Manager, AMER (M2)

Location: Flexible, must be based in the US

Work Schedule: Remote, M-F 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CT

Travel Requirements: 25%

Reports to: AMER Lead, Reliability and Asset Strategy

Estimated base salary range: $130,000 - $150,000

What this job involves:

The Reliability Program Manager will be responsible for program implementation, value demonstration and continuous improvement projects coordinating with dedicated on-account Reliability Engineers through a matrix reporting structure.  This individual will provide reliability program oversight and coordination, ensuring alignment with clients on strategic asset management direction as provided by the Regional Lead, demonstrate our programmatic implementation focused on maximizing asset value, and develop a strong case study library.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Asset Management

  • Under general direction of Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Strategy platform, creates and deploys clients’ strategic asset management plans in alignment with ISO 55001 standards. 

Reliability Engineering

  • Facilitates necessary risk analysis via on account reliability engineers for assets under care using Reliability Centered Maintenance approaches, and equipment preventative maintenance (PM) task creation and management for continuous improvement and PM optimization.
  • Facilitates/supports operational event and equipment failure investigations to ensure that the root cause/causal factors have been identified, corrective actions prescribed, and follow-up monitoring conducted as applicable, to determine effectiveness.
  • Responsible for overseeing operations activities throughout account/project life cycle.
  • Coordinates program execution through matrix relationships with on-account Reliability Engineers (who have direct reporting lines to the Regional Lead) to ensure consistent delivery of Reliability & Asset Management solutions and outcomes across multiple accounts.
  • Anticipates and leads issue resolution.
  • Assists leadership team in the selection of action plans that best meets business objectives.
  • Develops use cases and work with Knowledge Management to build a case study library.

Workflow Management

  • Consults on appropriate Maintenance and Reliability metrics for accounts to measure program effectiveness: planned/unplanned work, planning/scheduling metrics, cost metrics, MTBF, replacement asset value, etc.

Capital Asset Renewal/Capital Planning

  • Supports the execution of capital planning and lifecycle asset management programs as well as commissioning activities for all upgrade, renovation, and construction projects which may include, but is not limited to, PM job plans, reviews for maintainability, critical spares, documentation, etc.

Maintenance Planning

  • Oversee development and implementation of processes to update asset and preventive maintenance records in the CMMS as required, including entering new equipment, inactivating retired equipment, and labeling equipment in the field with asset tags.

Condition-based Maintenance

  • Understanding predictive maintenance technologies (vibration, oil analysis, thermography, ultrasound, motor current analysis) and execution of condition-based maintenance programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in reliability principles, asset management, and facility systems operations
  • Minimum 10+ years’ of experience implementing reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methodologies, CbM/PdM methods, operating building automation and energy management systems, and thorough understanding of asset management, data analytics, and capital planning approaches.
  • Certified Reliability Leader or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial, critical, manufacturing, labs, or distribution facility types required.
  • Experience in facilitating training, supporting coaching initiatives, and collaborating with technical teams using a variety of tools and techniques
  • Experience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
  • Experience in Asset Management and/or analyzing risk
  • Practical experience developing and optimization of maintenance strategies and plans
  • Experience implementing and/or working with Management Systems i.e. (ISO9001, ISO55001)
  • Asset whole lifecycle costing and total cost of ownership
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary projects and the application of system integration techniques across multiple types of assets
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manipulate large amounts of data accurately using different spreadsheet formats

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in critical environments preferred (data centers, laboratories, manufacturing environments, etc.) 
  • Certification training in Condition based/Predictive technologies is preferred.
  • IAM Certificate is preferred.

This exciting opportunity is responsible for providing reliability engineering support for operations and maintenance of buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets across multiple accounts. The purpose of this role is to oversee development and implementations of robust processes and programs in determining reliability of assets, components, equipment, and processes in accordance with JLL’s enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program and ensures the output meets outcomes-based performance measures, oversees root cause failure analysis (RCFA) of equipment failures to determine the required corrective action for the situation including cost avoidance, return on investment, alternative options, and action plans that comply with client intentions to maximize reliability and efficiency of their assets.

Estimated compensation for this position:

130,000.00 – 150,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
