The Senior Project Manager provides dedicated project management oversight, administration coordination, and trainee support for the MOHERE (Master's in One Health and Emergency Research Ethics) project and its associated grant activities. The Senior Project Manager fosters collaboration among internal and external partners including the international subawardee, the University of Nairobi, Kenya, to facilitate project deliverables. Key responsibilities include overseeing project planning, resourcing, budgeting, invoicing, and progress reporting; ensuring deliverables meet quality and cost standards; and monitoring project status.

Additionally, this role serves as the primary administrative point of contact for the MOHERE PI and key investigators, overseeing MOHERE team communications, tracking trainee progress, designing and distributing evaluation surveys, and organizing workshops and program events. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing overall grant administration, timeline tracking, and compliance for the MOHERE project.
  • Leading trainee-facing operations, including overseeing scholarship appointments, ongoing communications, cohort tracking, and feedback collection.
  • Supporting key project planning activities, co-ordinating team meetings, compiling progress reports, managing project calendars, and coordinating domestic and international travel for PI and key personnel.
  • Initiating Workday transactions (requisitions, spend authorizations, expense reports, and reimbursements)
  • Developing presentations, spreadsheets and briefing materials for internal and external project stakeholders.
  • Coordinating logistics for annual workshops, training modules, and special events.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desired. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Position funding ends March 31, 2027.
