JOB SUMMARY:
The Faculty Manager provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for Associate Faculty within the First-Year Experience program. This role focuses on ensuring consistent instructional quality, strong faculty engagement, adherence to faculty expectations, and an extraordinary student experience across assigned First-Year Experience course sections.
The Faculty Manager regularly reviews faculty performance, course activity, student engagement, and instructional practices and addresses performance concerns when needed. The Faculty Manager works closely with Course Chairs to support faculty performance, staffing, and continuous improvement.
To remain connected to the student and faculty experience, the Faculty Manager also teaches four First-Year Experience courses annually.
