Job description

About Technology.

Technology at Huge is powered by a global practice of creative technologists—spanning Engineers, QA specialists, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and ML Architects—we look beyond standard patterns to build resilient, enterprise-grade systems. We combine deep engineering rigor with innovation at the edge of agentic AI, modern data stacks, and cloud infrastructure. We don't wait for industry standards to set themselves; we engineer the intelligent systems that turn audacious strategic vision into production-ready reality.

The role.

We’re looking for a Senior UI Engineer to build fast, accessible, and responsive web experiences. You’ll work closely with designers, clients, and cross-functional teams to translate high-fidelity designs into polished digital products while contributing to technical decisions, quality, and delivery.

What you'll be doing.

  • Develop responsive, high-performance web experiences using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Translate high-fidelity designs into pixel-perfect, responsive experiences across browsers and devices.
  • Build accessible experiences aligned with WCAG 2.1 AA standards and modern CSS practices.
  • Optimize front-end performance and deliver experiences with strong Lighthouse scores.
  • Work with existing component libraries and front-end frameworks to build scalable and consistent experiences.
  • Write and maintain unit and functional tests, applying Test Driven Development practices where appropriate.
  • Collaborate through Git, pull requests, code reviews, and modern development workflows.
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing and leverage AI-assisted QA tools to improve quality.
  • Manage front-end deployment workflows and contribute to CI/CD processes when needed.
  • Work autonomously to prioritize work, estimate effort, identify risks, and deliver within deadlines.
  • Collaborate directly with designers, clients, and stakeholders, presenting work and incorporating feedback throughout the process.

What we'd like to see.

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
  • Expert-level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience with responsive design, accessibility, SCSS, CSS Modules, and CSS-in-JS.
  • Experience with Vitest or similar testing frameworks and TDD practices.
  • Strong understanding of Git and collaborative software development workflows.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with front-end deployment workflows; CI/CD knowledge is a plus.
  • Nice to have: Experience creating Claude Code skills, working with MCPs, and agentic workflows.
