The role.

Huge is looking for a Freelance Senior UI Engineer to support the development and delivery of high-quality digital experiences. The ideal candidate will bring strong frontend engineering expertise along with hands-on experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to build scalable, maintainable, and high-performing digital experiences while ensuring technical quality and consistency throughout the development process.

• This is a fully remote freelance contract opportunity.

• End Date: September 18, 2026
• Location: Colombia
• Equipment: You will use your own computer and equipment.
• Engagement Type: Independent Contractor.

What you'll be doing.

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable user interfaces and digital experiences.
• Build reusable and maintainable frontend components aligned with established design systems.
• Work closely with UX, Visual Design, Product, and Engineering teams to translate designs and requirements into production-ready experiences.
• Develop and integrate frontend solutions within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex frontend and AEM-related issues.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive behavior, accessibility, and performance across digital experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices and standards.
• Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Communicate technical considerations and solutions clearly with cross-functional teams.

What we'd like to see.

• 5+ years of experience in UI/Frontend Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is required.
• Strong proficiency in modern frontend technologies, particularly JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building reusable UI components and scalable frontend architectures.
• Experience working with design systems and translating visual designs into production-ready interfaces.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance.
• Experience collaborating closely with UX, Visual Design, Product, and Engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience working in Agile and fast-paced development environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional English proficiency, both written and verbal.
