Job description

About Nexford
Nexford University is a next-generation online university built for a fast-changing world providing flexible, affordable, career-relevant education for ambitious, globally minded learners.

About the Marketing Team

Nexford’s marketing team is modern, ambitious, and built to move. We combine sharp strategy, strong creative, performance data, marketing technology, and AI-assisted workflows to create campaigns that are both culturally relevant and commercially effective. We value people who bring ideas, take ownership, collaborate openly, and care about the details that turn good creative into great creative.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Multimedia Designer based in the Philippines to help bring Nexford’s brand and campaigns to life across static, motion, and video formats. This is a hands-on role for a versatile emerging designer who understands how creative needs to work across channels, not just look good in a portfolio.

You’ll work closely with creative, copy, demand generation, marketing operations, and web teammates to translate briefs into polished, production-ready assets. You should be comfortable working within an established brand system while bringing fresh thinking, strong taste, and a genuine curiosity about what makes modern marketing creative perform.

What You'll Do

  • Design static and motion assets for paid/organic social, email, and display
  • Edit and produce short-form video basic motion graphics, animation, captions, text treatments
  • Build and adapt on-brand templates in Figma and Canva
  • Support web/landing page assets
  • Develop creative variations for testing, then use performance feedback to sharpen future work
  • Keep source files and assets organized so the team can find, reuse, and scale them
  • Juggle multiple requests and deadlines while staying current on social-first trends

What You Bring

  • 2–4 yrs in graphic/multimedia design (internship, freelance, in-house all count)
  • Strong Figma and Canva; working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro and/or After Effects
  • A portfolio showing strong fundamentals (typography, layout, color, hierarchy) across social, digital, and multimedia
  • Clean short-form video and basic motion graphics
  • Ability to take a brief to polished work independently, and ask smart questions when direction is thin
  • Openness to feedback, iteration, and collaborative critique

Nice to Have

  • Edtech, SaaS, higher-ed, or tech-forward brand experience
  • Responsible use of AI tools to speed ideation, production, and versioning
  • Short-form video fluency (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
  • Paid media / performance creative exposure

How We Work

We move quickly, but quality still matters. You’ll be trusted to take ownership of assigned work, communicate early when something is unclear or at risk, and respond constructively to feedback. We care about creative judgment, reliability, curiosity, and continuous improvement. You do not need to know everything on day one, but you should be ready to learn fast and contribute with intention.

Nexford University is committed to building an inclusive workplace. We welcome applicants from different backgrounds, identities, experiences, and perspectives who are excited to help build the future of education.
