Job description

Place of work: Colombia (fully remote)

Position type: Part-time contractor position, with a possibility of becoming a full-time role in the future

We are hiring for a part-time remote position based in Colombia. This role is ideal for junior–mid customer support professionals who are available to work primarily on weekends, with occasional weekday shifts, and who are passionate about sports — especially football. A minimum commitment of 60 working hours per month is required.

The position is initially part-time, with the potential to switch to a full-time role depending on team needs, performance, and long-term fit.

ABOUT SOFASCORE

Some tell stories with words; we tell ours with numbers. Sofascore is a sports-tech platform created with one goal in mind – giving sports enthusiasts around the world a deeper understanding of the game.

We pride ourselves on being the leading provider of advanced sports insights, covering more matches than anyone else on the planet: 20,000+ tournaments across 25 sports in 40+ languages.

This position supports our product Torneo by Sofascore, a state-of-the-art tournament management platform for sports organizations, clubs, and associations. Torneo enables them to manage and showcase their competitions directly within the Sofascore app, bringing them closer to our global audience.

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and communicative customer support professional with a strong interest in sports and digital tools. In this role, you will support Torneo users, verify sports data, resolve reported issues, and help ensure the accuracy and quality of information within the Torneo platform.

This role requires both strong customer support skills and a solid understanding of sports, particularly football. You should be comfortable communicating with users, investigating issues, working with sports data, and learning internal tools and procedures.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Provide support and training to new users of the Torneo application
  • Communicate with users in a clear, professional, and helpful manner
  • Input, verify, and update sports data in the Torneo application
  • Monitor and resolve data discrepancies promptly
  • Collaborate with senior data specialists to ensure data integrity
  • Assist in the triage and resolution of reported bugs within the application
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for data processes and application functionality

What you bring to the team

  • Previous experience in customer support, user support, operations, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of sports, especially football, including major competitions, clubs, players, and basic competition structures
  • Familiarity with sports statistics and major sports leagues, either through professional experience or a strong personal interest
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data handling
  • Basic understanding of data management tools and software, with a willingness to learn
  • Excellent written communication skills and a professional approach to user support
  • Good teamwork skills and the ability to follow internal procedures
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Availability to work primarily on weekends, with occasional weekday shifts

What we offer

  • Work on a globally recognized brand with real impact
  • Fully remote work
  • Contractor agreement
  • Flexible part-time setup
  • Potential switch to a full-time position
