We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced product professionals with backgrounds in product management, product development, product ownership, and cross-functional product delivery.

This role focuses on reviewing and evaluating product-related documents and work products for quality, accuracy, relevance, and professional soundness. Selected professionals will assess product plans, requirements, analyses, presentations, and supporting materials while providing clear, structured feedback.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management Review

  • Review product plans, requirements, and related work products for accuracy and completeness
  • Assess whether product decisions are logically supported and professionally structured
  • Evaluate priorities, objectives, dependencies, and execution considerations
  • Identify inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, or missing information
  • Apply practical product-management judgement across varied assignments

Product Development

  • Evaluate materials related to product development and delivery
  • Review product concepts, requirements, workflows, and implementation considerations
  • Assess whether proposed approaches are practical and internally consistent
  • Identify gaps in planning, sequencing, or execution
  • Evaluate development-related recommendations for clarity and feasibility

Product Requirements & Documentation

  • Review product requirements, specifications, and supporting documentation
  • Assess completeness, clarity, structure, and consistency
  • Identify ambiguous requirements or missing dependencies
  • Evaluate whether product documentation appropriately supports intended outcomes
  • Review alignment between objectives, requirements, and proposed solutions

Product Analysis

  • Review product analyses, metrics, and supporting information
  • Assess whether conclusions are appropriately supported by available data
  • Evaluate assumptions, comparisons, and recommendations
  • Identify analytical inconsistencies or unsupported conclusions
  • Review quantitative information for accuracy and decision usefulness

Spreadsheet Review

  • Review product-related spreadsheets for accuracy and consistency
  • Assess calculations, tables, assumptions, and supporting data
  • Identify missing information, formula issues, or inconsistencies
  • Evaluate whether spreadsheet outputs support stated conclusions
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across quantitative work products

Document & Presentation Review

  • Review Word documents and PowerPoint presentations for clarity, accuracy, and professional quality
  • Assess organisation, supporting analysis, and presentation structure
  • Identify inconsistencies between underlying information and presented conclusions
  • Evaluate whether product recommendations are communicated clearly
  • Review materials against defined project guidelines

Structured Evaluation & Feedback

  • Assess assigned work products against defined quality standards
  • Identify substantive product, analytical, organisational, and presentation issues
  • Distinguish material concerns from minor editorial issues
  • Provide clear, concise, and actionable written feedback
  • Apply evaluation criteria consistently across assignments

Ideal Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience in product management, product development, product ownership, or a closely related field
  • Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Product Lead, Product Specialist, Program Manager, or similar professional
  • Strong understanding of product planning, requirements, development, and delivery
  • Strong analytical and document-review skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines
  • Strong proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Comfortable reviewing varied product-related work products
  • Able to work independently and provide precise professional feedback

Engagement Details

  • Part-time independent contractor engagement
  • Fully remote
  • Applicants must be based in the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, or Canada
  • Compensation: $70–$150/hour
  • Flexible scheduling based on project requirements
  • Work focuses on product management, product development, document review, and structured evaluation
  • Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded based on project needs and performance
  • Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, or other third party
  • H1-B and STEM OPT support is unavailable for this engagement
