As a Manual QA Engineer, you will help ensure that the companyβs web and mobile products work reliably across complex payment journeys. You will test new functionality, uncover risks before release and work closely with developers and product stakeholders to improve quality throughout the delivery process.
Your work will directly affect customer trust in areas such as registration, KYC/KYB checks, crypto transactions, invoicing, payment status tracking and settlement.
Test customer-facing web applications and mobile experiences across supported devices, browsers and operating systems;
Create clear test scenarios, checklists and test cases from product requirements and user stories;
Validate complete user journeys, including onboarding, authentication, account management and transaction flows;
Perform functional, regression, exploratory, usability and compatibility testing;
Check positive, negative and boundary scenarios involving payment amounts, currencies, statuses and time-sensitive actions;
Identify, document and prioritise defects with reliable reproduction steps, screenshots, logs and supporting evidence;
Verify fixes and assess whether changes introduce regressions elsewhere in the product;
Collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders during planning, testing and release decisions;
Help improve QA processes, release-readiness criteria and product quality standards.
Practical experience in manual QA testing for both web and mobile products;
Strong understanding of software testing principles, defect lifecycles and release processes;
Experience designing test cases and executing functional, regression and exploratory testing;
Ability to test across different browsers, screen sizes, mobile devices and operating systems;
Confidence investigating issues using browser developer tools, application logs or similar diagnostic information;
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to recognise inconsistencies in complex user journeys;
Clear written and spoken English for documenting defects and collaborating in a remote team;
Ability to organise your workload independently and communicate risks before release.
Experience testing FinTech, payments, banking, cryptocurrency or financial-services products;
Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger;
Basic knowledge of SQL, network requests or client-server architecture;
Exposure to test automation or an interest in developing automation skills.
Strong ownership of product quality from requirement review through release;
Analytical thinking and a structured approach to investigating unexpected behaviour;
Clear communication when explaining defects, risks and business impact;
Sound judgement when balancing release timelines with customer and operational risk;
Curiosity about how payment products behave beyond the expected happy path.
