Job description

Who You Will Be Working For
Atlas is a global strategic consulting firm, focused on the life sciences industry. Our services include Management Consulting, Managed Services and Agile Services. Global pharmaceutical companies and emerging players in the Life Sciences depend on over four hundred Atlas consultants to ensure they have the capabilities that will give them the ability to succeed.

What You Will Do
We are seeking an experienced Product Operations Program Manager to support a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company in the execution and adoption of its Product Model across a complex product portfolio. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a high possibility of extension. The role can be fully remote regardless of location; however, candidates located near New York City or Tampa are preferred for the flexibility to be onsite as needed.
As the Product Operations Program Manager, you will serve as a hands-on operator responsible for keeping the Product Model running effectively across product teams. You will own program execution and operating cadence, coordinate product and demo reviews, drive actions and decisions to closure, support team onboarding and rollout activities, and provide consistent portfolio and adoption reporting to leadership. You will also support the product planning environment, including Aha! or a comparable platform, helping ensure that planning data, reporting, governance, and operating rhythms remain accurate, visible, and actionable.
This role requires someone who can move seamlessly between program execution, stakeholder facilitation, product operations, reporting and analytics, platform enablement, and adoption support within a large enterprise and regulated environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the Product Model adoption program plan, including milestones, dependencies, rollout sequencing, risks, and cross-team coordination.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new product teams into the Product Model and the Aha! planning environment or comparable product planning platform.
  • Track actions, decisions, risks, and dependencies through closure and escalate blockers to the Product Operations Lead as appropriate.
  • Establish, schedule, and run recurring operating rhythms, including product reviews, demo cadences, portfolio reviews, and other leadership forums.
  • Prepare agendas, pre-reads, presentation materials, and supporting documentation for product and portfolio review sessions.
  • Capture key outcomes, decisions, action items, owners, and follow-ups and ensure commitments are completed on schedule.
  • Ensure review inputs are complete, accurate, and consistent so leadership forums can focus on decision-making rather than status collection.
  • Build and maintain portfolio, roadmap, delivery, and adoption reporting across platforms such as Aha!, Jira, and Power BI.
  • Track Product Model adoption measures and identify trends, risks, barriers, and areas requiring leadership attention.
  • Prepare recurring reporting and executive-level updates for operating reviews and portfolio leadership.
  • Support Aha! workspaces, templates, views, standard fields, and related configuration and administration activities.
  • Partner with Product Leads and other stakeholders to monitor product data quality, completeness, and consistency and drive corrective action when needed.
  • Help ensure planning data structures and product hierarchies appropriately connect strategic plans to delivery execution in tools such as Jira.
  • Support enablement sessions, office hours, Community of Practice activities, onboarding programs, playbooks, standards, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate adoption of new product management practices and ways of working across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Partner closely with Product Operations, Product Leads, technology teams, and business stakeholders to maintain alignment across planning, execution, reporting, and governance.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve operating cadence, planning visibility, reporting effectiveness, and Product Model adoption.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in program management, product operations, PMO, transformation delivery, or a related role within a large enterprise environment.
  • Proven experience coordinating complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple teams, including managing milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and actions through closure.
  • Experience establishing and running recurring product, portfolio, or leadership operating rhythms, including preparing materials, facilitating reviews, and driving follow-up actions.
  • Hands-on experience with Aha! or a comparable product management and planning platform; Aha! administration or configuration experience is preferred.
  • Experience building portfolio, roadmap, delivery, adoption, or executive reporting using tools such as Power BI or comparable analytics platforms.
  • Strong understanding of product planning practices, product operating models, Agile delivery, and how product planning data and hierarchies connect to delivery tools such as Jira.
  • Working knowledge of data quality, governance, and reporting standards, particularly within regulated environments.
  • Experience supporting the rollout and adoption of new processes, product operating models, or ways of working across multiple teams.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate status, risks, trends, and decisions to both product and executive audiences.
  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or another regulated industry preferred.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams preferred.
