Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Networking Software Engineer to support complex customer escalations within modern mobile and telecom environments. This position will take ownership of high-impact technical issues, analyze hardware and software problems, and work closely with internal engineering teams to identify solutions and improve product reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and resolve complex, high-priority technical escalations related to 4G/5G mobile core networks.
• Investigate issues across Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cisco UCS, and networking infrastructures.
• Analyze system failures, performance degradation, crashes, and stability concerns to determine underlying causes.
• Work directly with product development and engineering teams to diagnose and address challenging hardware and software defects.
• Coordinate technical resolution activities while maintaining clear communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Document findings, troubleshooting steps, and root-cause analysis to support long-term product improvements.
• Provide technical guidance during critical incidents and ensure issues are driven through to successful resolution.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting 4G/5G mobile core networks or telecommunications environments.
• Strong practical knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, and containerized platforms.
• Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, IPSec, and routing protocols.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex software, hardware, and network problems.
• Experience performing root-cause analysis, debugging, and performance investigation.
• Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to manage technical escalations professionally.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with OpenShift, StarOS, REST APIs, Python, or Shell scripting.
• Programming knowledge in Go, C, or C++.
• Background with telecom network testing, traffic-generation, or simulation platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud-native telecom architectures and distributed network applications.
• Understanding of 3GPP specifications and mobile network standards.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical discipline.
• Professional experience working in telecommunications, cloud-native infrastructure, mobility, or networking environments.
• Practical knowledge of 3G, 4G/LTE, and 5G core network technologies.
