Senior Systems Engineer, AI & Automation

Job Summary:

Seeking for a hands-on AI Automation and Agent Implementation Consultant to design and implement AI solutions that enhance business processes and efficiency. This role focuses on building and operationalizing AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

Core Work Activities:

• Design and implement AI-enabled FinOps capabilities for cloud cost management and reporting.
• Identify manual workflows and translate them into AI automation use cases.
• Rapidly prototype, test, and deploy AI solutions using tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Build AI agents and automations that integrate with enterprise systems while ensuring security and privacy.
• Establish monitoring and support mechanisms to enhance AI solution reliability.
• Measure and communicate business outcomes such as productivity and cost improvements.
• Develop and maintain cost transparency for AI workloads, including compute and storage.
• Create dashboards and KPIs to track AI-related spend and efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to improve AI infrastructure performance and cost.
• Analyze cloud usage to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Mentor team members as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in IT, including cloud technologies and automation using Python or Bash.
• Experience in designing and deploying AI-enabled automation solutions.
• Proven ability to move AI solutions into production with measurable outcomes.
• Experience with AI development tools like Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and LLM-based platforms.

Preferred:

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with platforms like Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure OpenAI, and others.
• Knowledge of AI agent frameworks and secure deployment patterns.
• Experience in FinOps/Cloud Cost Optimization strategies.
