Humana is seeking a Creative Development Professional who will play an integral role as part of Humana's National Medicaid Operations team. This position will lead the development of member-facing materials to support our new and existing Medicaid and Integrated DSNP markets. The Creative Development Professional will work to develop digital member and provider-facing materials needed to support Medicaid's communication and program goals and objectives. They will be part of a rapidly growing organization and team, managing a variety of projects at once, while meeting tight deadlines and aligning to brand and business objectives.

  • Applies various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the organization and its products, services and brands.
  • Maintains websites and web applications.
  • Develops and coordinates multimedia packages (e.g., letters, brochures, video, point-of-purchase displays and writing copy).
  • Leads the development of copy for a variety of mediums and platforms, from concept to final product, including websites and mobile apps, email, social media, print collateral, direct mail, emails and texts, etc. for Humana's Medicaid members.
  • Works effectively with cross-functional groups to produce high-quality, accurate documents under strict timelines, and ensures consistency between related documents.
  • Ensures that assigned documents undergo a quality check before approval, and that documents are routed correctly during review and approval cycles.
  • Manages timelines and communicates with team members to maintain awareness of expectations, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
  • Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Advertising, or a related field of study or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of professional creative development experience.
  • Experience in website creation and management
  • Strong collaboration skills, excellent communication and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience giving presentations and effectively communicating to lead with influence.
  • Experience meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare and/or in a highly regulated environment.
  • Experience in operations or process planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products

Additional Information

  • Workstyle: Home. Home workstyle is defined as remote but will use Humana office space on an as needed basis for collaboration and other face-to-face needs.
  • Typical Work Days/Hours: must be available Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm CST or EST

Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

 

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$65,000 - $88,600 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
