Logistics Specialist I

Location: Colombia
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

As a Logistics Specialist I, you will help coordinate the movement of materials and shipments so they arrive at the right place, at the right time, and in the right condition.

You will work with colleagues, customers, suppliers, carriers, and other partners to support day-to-day logistics activities across Chile, Colombia, and Peru. This is an opportunity to build your logistics expertise while contributing to work that makes a meaningful difference for our customers.

You will join a collaborative team where you can learn, contribute ideas, solve problems, and grow your career.

What You Will Do

  • Track shipments and provide clear updates to customers and internal teams.

  • Work with carriers, couriers, suppliers, and other partners to resolve delivery issues.

  • Support import and export activities in line with applicable procedures and local requirements.

  • Maintain accurate shipment information and records in company systems.

  • Identify shipment delays or risks and work with the appropriate teams to find solutions.

  • Support temperature-sensitive or time-sensitive shipments when required.

  • Follow established quality, safety, and compliance procedures.

  • Contribute ideas that improve logistics processes and the customer experience.

  • Attention to detail when working with shipping information and documentation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.

  • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and logistics requirements.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

  • Spanish proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

These qualifications are helpful, but you do not need to meet every one to apply:

  • Experience coordinating domestic or international shipments.

  • Exposure to import/export or customs processes.

  • Experience working with logistics providers, couriers, freight forwarders, or transportation partners.

  • Experience in a regulated industry such as healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or clinical research.

  • Familiarity with temperature-controlled or time-sensitive shipments.

  • English communication skills.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will:

  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers and colleagues.

  • Maintain reliable logistics records and documentation.

  • Respond constructively when priorities or shipment conditions change.

  • Build strong working relationships across teams.

  • Continue developing your knowledge of logistics, compliance, and customer service.

How You Will Grow

You will have opportunities to strengthen your knowledge of international logistics, transportation, import/export processes, regulated supply chains, and customer service.

You will learn from experienced colleagues and gain exposure to logistics activities across multiple countries. As your experience grows, you may take on broader responsibilities and increasingly complex logistics activities.

Our Commitment

We value different experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds. We are committed to creating an environment where colleagues can contribute, learn, and grow.

If you are interested in this opportunity but do not meet every preferred qualification, we encourage you to apply. Your skills and experience may be a strong match for this role or another opportunity with our team.
