Job description

Role Summary

The Commission Sales Associate is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and onboarding new clients onto our card payment systems. This role exists to expand our market footprint within the IT and payment processing sector through proactive outreach and relationship management. Success is measured by new client acquisitions and the consistent achievement of monthly sales targets in a 100% commission-based, remote environment.

  • Remote Autonomy: Operates with high independence; requires disciplined self-management to meet performance targets without daily supervision.
  • Flexible Schedule: Target-based role allowing for schedule flexibility, provided outreach volume and response times meet company standards.
  • Small Team Dynamics: Collaborates directly with a lean team (1-10 people) and internal trainers to master product knowledge and sales scripts.
  • Compliance: Must maintain strict adherence to financial industry regulations and data security standards during client onboarding.


What You'll Do

  • Execute outbound prospecting strategies to identify and qualify high-potential leads within target markets.
  • Conduct virtual demonstrations and sales calls to present the value proposition of our card processing solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and lead generation to negotiation and final closing.
  • Onboard new clients onto card payment systems, ensuring a seamless transition and high initial satisfaction.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy by documenting all interactions, follow-ups, and pipeline movements in real-time.
  • Collaborate with internal trainers to stay updated on product enhancements and industry trends.
  • Analyze market feedback to refine outreach messaging and improve conversion rates.
  • Drive independent growth by proactively identifying new niches or industries for card reader placement.
  • Prepare professional proposals and negotiate contract terms that align with both client needs and company margins.


Success Indicators

  • Achieve monthly sales quotas as defined by the target-based commission structure.
  • Maintain a high lead-to-close ratio through effective qualification and persistent follow-up.
  • Ensure 100% CRM data integrity for all prospective and closed accounts.
  • Deliver high client satisfaction scores during the initial 30-day onboarding phase.


Required Qualifications

  • Proven sales experience (Mid-Level) with a track record of meeting or exceeding individual targets.
  • Authorized to work in the United Kingdom (mandatory requirement).
  • Strong virtual communication skills, including professional phone manner, video conferencing etiquette, and clear email writing.
  • Demonstrated ability in outbound prospecting and managing a high-volume sales pipeline independently.
  • High level of self-motivation and discipline required for a 100% commission-based, remote role.
  • Basic technical literacy, including experience with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and digital research platforms.
  • Ability to explain complex services clearly to diverse audiences and adapt messaging on the fly.


Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in card processing or financial technology (FinTech) sales.
  • Experience in a startup environment or small team (1-10 employees).
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
