About Lucky 21

Lucky 21 is an e-commerce company focused on building and growing successful brands across Amazon, Walmart, and other major marketplaces. Our teams combine merchandising, buying, content, advertising, technology, and data to drive profitable growth.

We’re looking for a Merchandising Coordinator to work closely with our Buying team and support the day-to-day management of our product assortment—from product planning and production through purchasing, inventory, and marketplace execution.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked in merchandising, buying, apparel, retail, or product operations and understands that successful e-commerce starts with having the right product, in the right style, size, color, quantity, and price, at the right time.

What You'll Do

Buying & Merchandising Support

  • Support buyers with assortment planning, buying plans, purchase orders, and product launches.
  • Maintain accurate product information throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Track products from initial planning through production, purchasing, receipt, and inventory availability.
  • Assist with analyzing sales, inventory, and product data to support buying decisions.
  • Help maintain seasonal assortments and ensure products are properly organized by style, color, size, and other attributes.
  • Monitor product costs, MSRP, pricing, and other key product information.

Purchase Orders & Production

  • Assist with creating, updating, and tracking purchase orders.
  • Monitor production status and expected completion dates.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding POs, production timelines, quantities, product details, and issues.
  • Follow up on outstanding vendor requests and ensure information is received and documented accurately.
  • Identify potential delays, shortages, or discrepancies and escalate issues to the appropriate team.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels and help identify overstock, low inventory, and upcoming inventory needs.
  • Track inventory from production through receipt and marketplace availability.
  • Compare inventory, sales, and buying plans to identify potential gaps or opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and product records across internal systems.
  • Help ensure buying and inventory decisions are supported by accurate data.

Product Data, Accuracy & Vendor Communication

  • Maintain accurate product data, including styles, sizes, colors, descriptions, UPCs, costs, MSRP, pricing, inventory, and PO details.
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm product details, pricing, production updates, quantities, and order information.
  • Review and reconcile data across systems to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure all product and vendor information is accurate, complete, and up to date.

Strong attention to detail is critical, as even small errors can impact purchasing, inventory, listings, and overall operations.

Amazon & Marketplace Support

  • Coordinate with marketplace teams to ensure new products are ready for launch.
  • Assist with product setup and maintenance on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.
  • Ensure product information provided to marketplace teams matches approved buying and merchandising information.
  • Support listing updates, product launches, and assortment changes.
  • Identify and help resolve product-data discrepancies across systems.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands merchandising and buying—not just data entry.

The ideal candidate has experience with:

  • Merchandising, buying, buying coordination, or assistant buyer responsibilities.
  • Buying plans and assortment planning.
  • Purchase orders and vendor management.
  • Production tracking and product development.
  • Inventory management and replenishment.
  • Working with apparel, fashion, footwear, accessories, or other products with multiple styles, sizes, colors, and SKUs.
  • Product costing, MSRP, pricing, and margin-related information.
  • Vendor communication and follow-up.
  • Maintaining large amounts of product data with a high level of accuracy.
  • Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
  • Amazon Seller Central or other e-commerce platforms is a strong plus.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, assistant buying, product coordination, retail operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working with product assortments and SKU-level data.
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle from buying → production → purchase order → inventory → sale.
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Comfortable communicating directly with vendors and internal teams.
  • Able to manage multiple products, POs, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Experience in fashion/apparel or retail merchandising is highly preferred.
  • Amazon/e-commerce experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Ability to work 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.
  • Reliable, high-speed internet connection.
  • Dedicated PC/laptop with dual monitors.
  • Available for video calls and team communication during working hours.
  • Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote environment.

The Right Person for This Role

We're looking for someone who is highly organized, commercially minded, and extremely detail-oriented.

You should be the type of person who notices when:

  • A PO quantity doesn't match the buying plan.
  • A vendor's production date doesn't make sense.
  • A style is missing a size or color.
  • A UPC doesn't match the correct product.
  • A cost or MSRP was entered incorrectly.
  • Inventory doesn't align with expectations.
  • Product information is inconsistent between systems.

You don't simply enter information—you understand the information and know when something doesn't look right.

Our Culture

At Lucky 21, we value people who:

  • Are obsessed with excellence and constantly look for ways to improve.
  • Take ownership and don't need to be micromanaged.
  • Are humble, candid, and open to feedback.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly.
  • Are curious and want to understand the business behind their work.
  • Have high bandwidth and can manage multiple priorities.
  • Care about accuracy, follow-through, and getting things right.

If you have a merchandising or buying background, love working with products and data, and want to be part of a fast-growing e-commerce team, we'd love to hear from you.
