Job description

Vālenz Health® is the destination for employers, brokers, payers, and providers to reduce costs, improve quality, and elevate the healthcare experience. Through advanced technology and clinical expertise, Valenz creates a distinctly different approach to a complex healthcare system. With our solutions, we execute across the entire healthcare journey — from member experience to payment integrity, provider quality, and plan performance.  With one of America’s largest cost, quality and utilization datasets, we create greater transparency, flexibility, and cost containment — empowering members and employers with the information they need to make smarter, more cost-effective decisions.

About This Opportunity:
As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you will lead full-cycle recruiting for a variety of professional and technical roles across Valenz, including positions within Sales, Technology, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Administration, and other functions. You’ll partner closely with hiring leaders to understand their needs, identify and attract strong talent, and lead an effective recruiting process from search through hire.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong full-cycle recruiting experience across a variety of functions and levels, confidence navigating different talent markets, and the ability to independently lead hiring managers through the recruiting process. You’re comfortable sourcing talent, asking the right questions, providing recommendations, and adjusting your approach to find the right people for the organization.

Things You’ll Do Here:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for professional and technical positions across a variety of functions and levels.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective recruiting and sourcing strategies.
  • Proactively source and engage qualified talent, including passive candidates, for specialized and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Screen and assess candidates for experience, capabilities, motivation, and alignment with the needs of the role and team.
  • Guide hiring managers throughout the recruiting process, providing market insights, candidate recommendations, and thoughtful counsel to support hiring decisions.
  • Ensure interview teams are prepared with the information and resources needed to conduct effective and consistent interviews.
  • Deliver a positive and highly responsive experience for candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruiting process.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and recruiting activity within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Lead offer discussions and negotiations and coordinate pre-employment activities through handoff to onboarding.
  • Provide regular updates on recruiting activity, pipeline health, market challenges, and search strategy, proactively adjusting the approach when needed.
  • Flex as needed to recruit for our Operations team.
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with demonstrated success recruiting professional and technical talent across a variety of functions and levels.
  • Experience recruiting across Sales, Technology, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, or other specialized functions.
  • Strong experience independently managing searches from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively source and engage passive candidates rather than relying primarily on inbound applicants.
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and leaders throughout the recruiting and selection process.
  • Strong judgment and ability to assess talent beyond resume qualifications and effectively communicate candidate recommendations.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple searches and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of responsiveness.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
A plus if you have…
  • Experience working within a healthcare or rapidly evolving organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
