Job description

Vālenz Health® is the destination for employers, brokers, payers, and providers to reduce costs, improve quality, and elevate the healthcare experience. Through advanced technology and clinical expertise, Valenz creates a distinctly different approach to a complex healthcare system. With our solutions, we execute across the entire healthcare journey — from member experience to payment integrity, provider quality, and plan performance.  With one of America’s largest cost, quality and utilization datasets, we create greater transparency, flexibility, and cost containment — empowering members and employers with the information they need to make smarter, more cost-effective decisions.

About This Opportunity:
As the Product Manager, Pharmacy, you’ll lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of Valenz Health’s Pharmacy Solutions portfolio, including Bluebook Rx, Valenz Integrated Health Management (IHM), Infusion Therapy, and related pharmacy cost-management solutions. You’ll serve as the business owner for the portfolio, identifying market opportunities, prioritizing investments, and bringing solutions from strategy through delivery and adoption.

You’ll work across Product, Clinical, Technology, Data & Analytics, Operations, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and external pharmacy partners to build and evolve solutions that reduce pharmacy spend while improving member outcomes and delivering meaningful value to our clients.

Things You’ll Do Here:

  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and business objectives for the Valenz Health Pharmacy Solutions portfolio.
  • Identify pharmacy trends, market opportunities, regulatory developments, competitive activity, and customer needs that shape product strategy and investment priorities.
  • Bring the perspectives of employers, health plans, brokers, consultants, clinicians, and members into product development and roadmap decisions.
  • Translate product strategy into prioritized initiatives, product capabilities, MVPs, release plans, and phased delivery strategies.
  • Partner across Technology, Clinical, Data & Analytics, Pharmacy Operations, UX, and other teams to develop scalable solutions that deliver measurable clinical, financial, and customer value.
  • Lead strategic relationships with pharmacy partners, including PBMs, specialty pharmacy providers, clinical vendors, data providers, and technology partners.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities, partnerships, and third-party solutions that strengthen and expand the Pharmacy Solutions portfolio.
  • Partner with Sales, Client Success, Marketing, and Implementation on product positioning, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, deployment, adoption, and long-term value realization.
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for the Pharmacy Solutions portfolio, clearly communicating product strategy, roadmap priorities, capabilities, and performance.
  • Define and monitor product performance across pharmacy savings, utilization, engagement, adoption, retention, financial performance, and clinical outcomes.
  • Use customer, product, clinical, and financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and build business cases for new capabilities, partnerships, and investments.
  • Coordinate product readiness across technology, operations, implementation, partner enablement, go-to-market execution, and customer adoption.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, Clinical Leadership, and Information Security to ensure new capabilities, data use, AI applications, and third-party partnerships meet applicable regulatory, privacy, security, and contractual requirements.
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, healthcare technology, pharmacy benefits, digital health, or a related healthcare field.
  • Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, and leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through implementation and market adoption.
  • Experience working with healthcare products that involve complex operational, clinical, technical, or regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in self-funded healthcare, pharmacy benefits, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or pharmacy cost-management solutions.
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen, including experience evaluating product performance and developing business cases.
  • Ability to translate customer, market, and business needs into clear product priorities and scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across Product, Technology, Clinical, Operations, Data, Sales, Marketing, and client-facing teams.
A plus if you have…
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Product Management, Health Informatics, or a related field.
  • Experience working with healthcare partners such as PBMs, TPAs, health plans, employers, brokers, consultants, or pharmacy vendors.
  • Knowledge of key pharmacy cost drivers, including benefit design, specialty medications, infusion therapy, pricing, rebates, and formulary management.
  • Experience using healthcare or pharmacy data to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
