Job description

Job Title: Technical Product Manager - Lead
Job Location: Fully Remote
Job Duration: 2.5 Years

Job Description:
  • Lead and execute program/project-level marketing products and offers through creation, development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Work with technical and non-technical partners to bring consumer and agent marketing campaign strategies to life.
  • Lead complex programs and projects that typically span multiple business units and may not follow a repeatable framework.
  • Manage areas of responsibility in enterprise-wide IT enhancement projects supporting marketing campaigns.
  • Lead cross-functional teams spanning technical development, go-to-market, and operations.
  • Accountable for implementing product offers and promotions for the Client portfolio of services, delivering 2-4 projects quarterly.
  • Responsible for consumer lifecycle implementation of new Client products, promotions, offers, and rate changes.
  • Responsible for system development of rating and promotional capabilities for the Client portfolio of services.
  • Break down business needs into technical requirements through creation of features, user stories, and other documentation templates.
  • Ensure technical requirements accurately represent business and cross-functional team needs.
  • Define and refine hundreds of offer attributes and variables for marketing requests.
  • Gain requirements alignment and communicate offers and product requirements across Strategy, Marketing, IT, Engineering, Customer Care/Sales Operations, and Legal.
  • Provide continuing product surveillance and management of established products to attain financial objectives.
  • Manage cross-functional teams through requirements gathering, implementation, validation, launch, and lifecycle management of services and promotions.
  • Partner with architecture and engineering teams on technical solutions.
  • Actively participate and consult in quarterly PI Planning.
  • Conduct ongoing risk analysis and recommend alternative options to influence decisions.
  • Consult with marketing partners to identify solutions that achieve business goals.
  • Act as a liaison and subject matter expert on Client products, services, and offers.
  • Serve as an acknowledged authority within the organization on product development.
  • Provide weekly leadership updates regarding assigned products and promotions.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal/external clients and business/IT partners to drive business success and optimization.

Skills - Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience in the entertainment industry.
  • Self-directed, organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lead projects across multiple organizations such as IT, Sales Operations, and Marketing.
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and articulate technical requirements through clear documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment to mitigate risks and overcome roadblocks.
  • Confidence and experience presenting and interacting across all levels of management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical managers and application developers, as well as non-technical stakeholders and senior executives.
  • Flexibility to accommodate change and adapt accordingly.
  • Leadership qualities including motivating others, inspiring teams, and overcoming group roadblocks.
  • Advanced leadership skills including conflict resolution, senior leader relationship management, and risk mitigation.
  • Client and/or U-verse billing and ordering experience or equivalent.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in learning new systems and applications (customer care, ordering, billing, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Skills - Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of multiple lines of the consumer business including Client and U-verse programming, packages, and products.
  • Working knowledge of:

    • Enabler
    • Evergent
    • ETM
    • LS-CRM
    • OMS
    • Online
    • Salesforce
    • Front-end ordering systems
  • Ability to analyze market data and reporting.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and JIRA.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
