Job description

Cadence is the clinical AI company automating the treatment of chronic disease. Its Clinical Intelligence takes on the routine, high-volume work of chronic care – monitoring patients, surfacing risks, and coordinating action – so clinicians can focus on the decisions that require them. Grounded in partnerships with more than 20 leading health systems, deep EMR integrations, dedicated medical group, and experience serving a population of more than 100,000 patients, the system learns from real-world care delivery, improving as it scales. Cadence has been recognized by TIME as one of the Top 100 HealthTech Companies and by LinkedIn as a Top Startup (#4, 2025).

The Role

We're hiring a Team Lead, Provider Relations Management (PRM) to lead a pod of PRMs responsible for driving provider adoption, engagement, ordering, retention, and growth across Cadence markets. This role combines people leadership with hands-on field execution, pairing accountability for pod performance with regular time in-market alongside PRMs, providers, and clinic stakeholders. You will work across Growth, Product, Care Delivery, and Partnerships to remove the workflow barriers that keep providers from incorporating Cadence remote monitoring into everyday care.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and lead a pod of PRMs, with accountability for individual and overall pod performance, coaching through regular 1:1s, performance reviews, field observations, and ongoing feedback.
  • Own pod-level performance against key provider growth, ordering, engagement, retention, churn reduction, and APCM new provider onboarding goals, and partner with PRMs to develop strategies for underperforming providers, clinics, and markets.
  • Translate performance data into clear priorities and action plans, and drive consistent execution of core PRM operating rhythms including provider onboarding, follow-up, clinic engagement, Salesforce hygiene, and field activity.
  • Spend 2-3 weeks per month in the field with PRMs for provider and clinic visits to observe execution, provide real-time coaching, and support high-priority opportunities.
  • Model effective provider conversations, clinic engagement, objection handling, workflow development, and clear order and referral asks in complex clinic environments.
  • Identify and address workflow barriers that limit provider adoption or ordering, and scale repeatable approaches across providers, clinics, and markets.
  • Build and continuously improve the materials, playbooks, talk tracks, and tools PRMs use to execute, partnering with Growth, Product, Care Delivery, and Partnerships to close enablement gaps as Cadence's partnerships scale.

What You Need

  • 5+ years of people management experience leading commercial, sales, field account management, provider engagement, customer success, or similar teams.
  • Experience managing at least 5 direct reports or equivalent team scope, with teams accountable to measurable monthly or quarterly goals.
  • Provider-facing healthcare experience influencing physicians, clinic staff, health system stakeholders, or healthcare operators.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve performance through coaching, feedback, metric inspection, and clear accountability.
  • Ability to travel regularly for in-market field coaching, typically 2-3 weeks per month, with access to a well-connected major airport. This is a remote, field-based role open to candidates anywhere in the U.S.
  • Preferred: RPM, CCM, APCM, chronic care, value-based care, ACO, digital health, healthcare SaaS, medical device, or specialty healthcare experience; Salesforce experience; and experience building playbooks, onboarding programs, or field operating rhythms.
  • Fluency with AI research and productivity tools and the ability to evaluate AI-driven insights critically, distinguishing signal from noise in a fast-moving information environment

Compensation

Expected on-target earnings (OTE) for this role typically range between $190,000 - $220,000, depending on experience, skills, seniority, and business needs.
