Remote Data Entry Specialist – Excel/Trilogy File Processing

Join a collaborative team seeking a detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist – Excel/Trilogy File Processing to support high-volume customer data processing and maintenance. This fully remote, contract-to-hire role focuses on transferring hourly Excel files into Trilogy while ensuring data accuracy and meeting established processing goals.

Contract Length: Contract-to-Hire
Location: Remote – U.S.
Work Setup: Remote
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM ET during training; transitioning to 11:30 AM–8:00 PM ET. Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Remote Data Entry Specialist Responsibilities

• Transfer and process Excel files into Trilogy on an hourly basis.
• Maintain accurate customer data using established data-entry procedures.
• Configure Excel formulas to support efficient mass uploads.
• Verify information, identify errors, and make corrections as instructed.
• Compile, validate, and enter data into spreadsheets, databases, reports, and forms.
• Maintain comprehensive records of data inputs and completed work.
• Perform standard calculations and compile statistics accurately.
• Proofread work to ensure consistent formatting and data quality.
• Communicate concerns, updates, and processing issues to management.
• Stay on task and consistently meet productivity and accuracy goals.

Remote Data Entry Specialist Qualifications

• 3+ years of Microsoft Excel experience.
• Strong Excel formula skills, including preparing files for mass uploads.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while following standardized procedures.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and basic problem-solving skills.

Remote Data Entry Specialist Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Trilogy.
• Experience creating or using Excel macros for data formatting.
• Familiarity with Airtable.
