Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven and analytical Business Analyst to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical in supporting our mission as a leading Telecom and Managed Services Provider, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into technical solutions that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization and report directly to the SVP of IT, playing a key role in requirements gathering, process improvement, and solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering, Analysis & Optimization:

  • Facilitate meetings and workshops with internal stakeholders to capture business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into clear, well-documented functional specifications, and obtain stakeholder sign-off.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and technical implications of business requirements.
  • Convert functional requirements into technical documentation and support the development team in understanding and delivering the solution.

Business Process Understanding & Improvement:

  • Analyze current business processes to identify pain points, inefficiencies, and redundancies.
  • Design or recommend optimized process flows that align with business goals and industry best practices.

Data Analysis:

  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to determine transformation requirements and support business objectives.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, or presentations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

Solution Design & Delivery Support:

  • Collaborate with IT teams to design solutions that address business requirements effectively and sustainably.
  • Perform high-level functional testing to ensure solutions meet specifications before User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support business users during UAT and ensure smooth transition to production.

Stakeholder Communication & Project Support:

  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain transparency on project scope, changes, and progress.
  • Assist Project Managers in planning, timeline management, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Telecom or Managed Services industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Proven experience working with remote teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of SQL or similar data querying tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in Telecom, ISP, or Managed Service Provider environments.
  • Comfortable working across time zones and remote collaboration platforms.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
