Senior Account Director (Ongoing Opportunity)

Compensation: $90,000 base salary, $180,000 OTE

Benefits: Fully Remote, Health/ dental/ vision, Paid Vacation/ sick/ holidays

Important Note:

This is an evergreen posting, meaning we keep it open year-round to build a pipeline of qualified candidates rather than for one specific open role. There may not be an immediate opening today, but we review applications on a rolling basis. So if this is a role you're excited for and you're interested in working for Feathr, and want to be considered for future opportunities, we'd love to see your application! Response times may be longer than for actively hiring roles– thank you for your patience.

Your Work:

Sr. Account Directors at Feathr are proven salespeople who love helping prospects solve problems and crush quota consistently. Feathr's mission is to help mission-driven and community-focused organizations do their best marketing so they can grow membership, fill events, and prove the impact of every campaign.

Our customers range from associations growing member renewals to arts organizations filling seats to nonprofits driving donor engagement across the globe. We help organizations show up where it matters by providing the world's best digital marketing platform built specifically for their world, not adapted from generic enterprise or e-commerce tools.

This is a quota-carrying sales role focused on new business. Your task is to care sincerely about your prospects' goals in order to help them decide which version of Feathr's software will empower them to do their best work.

Our segment is purpose-driven and digitally aspirational. You will need to establish tangible trust with your buyer and paint a clear picture of what life with our marketing platform will mean for their team and their goals.

Your Experience:

  • 3+ years sales experience in quota-carrying new business role

  • Proven track record of top-performance and diligent pipeline management.

  • Sold new technology/services to more traditional customer segments.

  • Experience driving value-based urgency to close deals with an average 45-60 day sales cycle

Your Qualities:

  • Customer-focused -- desire to sell a product that brings honest value to your customers and their team. You do what's right by your customers.

  • Coachable - self-improvement expert that understands you must apply feedback to grow.

  • Passionate -- You love sales! Whatever your motivation and driving force, your energy and smile is contagious.

  • Excellent communication and active listening -- listen fully to your audience and respond thoughtfully.

  • Hungry - consistent drive to achieve goals and maximize your income.

  • Authentic - we want you to be yourself and our customers do, too!

  • Humble - we need you to take your work seriously, not yourself.

  • Diligent - consistently exhibit disciplined care for your work and assigned goals

  • Curious - see the value of research and knowledge. The why matters.

  • Emotional intelligence - empathize with others and don’t require verbal communication to understand what your audience may be thinking or feeling.

Your Day:

  • Guide nonprofits through the buying process from demo to proposal to close. Most of that guidance is provided to executive directors, senior marketers and fundraisers via zoom calls, phone calls and written follow-up.

  • Prep for new demos + closing calls, leading those calls, executing personalized follow up, pipeline management within Salesforce and sharpening your skill sets with fellow Flock members.

  • Report to the Associate Director of Sales who will help prepare your proposals, close deals and refine your skill-sets with monthly coaching sessions.

Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Compensation:

Base pay for this position is $90,000, with $180,000 annual OTE.

In addition, you’ll receive health/dental/vision insurance, and other benefits like a professional development budget, office food, and social events, not to mention being a part of a supportive and motivated team.

Location:

This role is open to remote candidates located within the United States, with a preference for those in the EST or CST time zones.

Interview Process:

As a part of our commitment to creating a fair and positive interview experience for all candidates, we offer full transparency of our interview stages to give applicants an idea of the time and effort involved. Additionally, each interview stage consists of standardized questions and rubrics with a scoring system to ensure a consistent and fair assessment practice of all candidates.

Please note: Because this is an evergreen posting, the timeline for moving through these stages may differ from a traditional hiring process. We review applications on a rolling basis, and candidates typically enter the interview process once a relevant opening becomes available rather than immediately upon applying. This means the time between application and first outreach can vary. Sometimes it's quick, and sometimes it takes longer. Below is what the process looks like once it begins.

  • HR Information Screen - The Talent Acquisition Team will invite candidates that move forward to a 15-minute virtual interview. This conversation will be focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and answering any questions the candidate has.

  • Manager Interview - This is a chance to meet the manager and dive deeper into your experience and the expectations of this role.

  • Work Assignment & Panel Interview - Candidates will be given a work assignment prompt to complete a project that is relevant to the work they can expect in the role. This interview will dive deeper into the role, technical knowledge, and requirements of the position.

  • Offer - The Talent Acquisition Team will reach out with the details of the offer to discuss with the candidate.
