With rapid growth comes opportunity. We are looking for a Market Development, Senior Specialist to join our team. This is a remote role, full-time, exempt role.
Responsibilities:
Market Development Execution
- Execute Market Development initiatives aligned with the strategic direction established by the Market Development Manager.
- Translate strategic initiatives into actionable commercial programs that accelerate market penetration and customer adoption.
- Support market segmentation, competitive intelligence, opportunity assessments, and market research activities.
- Monitor market trends, commercial performance, and customer adoption metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to regional business initiatives through market insights and commercial execution.
Sales Empowerment & Enablement
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Sales enablement programs that empower commercial teams to effectively position Hygiena's solutions and accelerate customer adoption in targeted segments.
- Develop and maintain sales playbooks, value propositions, competitive positioning, application guides, objection-handling tools, customer presentations, and other commercial resources.
- Design and deliver cross-selling application and market training programs for Sales, distributors, channel partners, Technical Sales Specialists, and Regional Marketing teams.
- Equip commercial teams with the knowledge, messaging, and tools required to confidently communicate Hygiena's value proposition across targeted market segments.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of Sales enablement initiatives and continuously improve commercial assets based on customer feedback, commercial performance, and Sales needs.
Content Development & Marketing Execution
- Own the development and maintenance of high-quality segment-specific marketing content aligned with the global Market Development strategy.
- Develop compelling value propositions, messaging frameworks and go-to-market assets tailored to customer segments to support General Marketing content and campaigns.
- Collaborate with General Marketing to execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting strategic business objectives.
- Support cross-selling initiatives during product launches through the development of customer-facing content, commercial messaging, and sales enablement materials
Customer Engagement, Education & Commercial Support
- Design and collaborate on VOC programs for assigned segments. Synthesize findings into segment insight briefs and share with sales and marketing.
- Plan and deliver partner-facing customer education events and regional conferences in collaboration with regional marketing and sales.
- Support in developing and executing customer education programs that promote best practices and accelerate the adoption of Hygiena's solutions across targeted market segments.
- Create and deliver webinars, workshops, training sessions, technical guides, application notes, videos, customer success stories, commercial presentations, and other educational materials that support Sales effectiveness and business growth.
- Support strategic customer engagements for the addressed segments alongside Regional Marketing & Sales, Scientific Affairs, and the Market Development Manager by translating customer needs into practical, value-driven commercial solutions.
- Assist Sales teams in addressing customer challenges through customer education, commercial support, and tailored value propositions.
- Support in collecting Voice of Customer insights and market feedback to continuously improve customer experience, commercial effectiveness, and market development strategies.
- Support customer adoption initiatives across key market segments and strategic accounts while collaborating with Regional Marketing to adapt global commercial materials to local market needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Market Development Manager, and collaborate with Market & Business Intelligence, Product Management, Scientific Affairs, General Marketing, Regional Marketing & Sales to ensure successful execution of Market Development initiatives.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships that facilitate alignment and successful execution of Market Development priorities.
- Translate scientific, technical, and regulatory information into compelling customer-focused messaging and commercial value propositions.
- Support portfolio positioning for cross-selling and commercial campaigns across global markets.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects that improve customer adoption and commercial effectiveness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety or a related scientific field, combined with strong marketing/business knowledge; or a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, with strong knowledge of the food science/food safety market/food segments.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Development, Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, Commercial Excellence, Sales Enablement, Product Management, Technical Sales, or a related commercial role.
- Demonstrated experience developing marketing campaigns, commercial content, sales enablement programs, customer education, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Proven ability to translate customer needs into compelling value propositions and commercial messaging.
- Experience supporting product launches, commercialization, and customer adoption initiatives.
- Experience working in B2B markets; experience in food safety, diagnostics, life sciences, healthcare, or other regulated industries is preferred but not required.
Salary Range (applicable to California):
$85,000.00 - $110,000.00/annual salary DOE.
