Job description



Parra Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking Mid-Level Acquisition Specialists to support DOI IBC-AQD Mission Support Services. This position independently performs preaward and award acquisition support and plays a lead role in acquisition planning, source selection support, and contract administration across an assigned portfolio of actions.


This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Independently develop and review acquisition planning packages, including SOWs/PWSs/SOOs, IGEs, and market research documentation.
  • Draft and coordinate RFIs/RFPs and support source selection processes, including evaluation criteria and documentation.
  • Perform price and cost analysis support in coordination with financial analysts.
  • Administer assigned contracts and task orders, including modifications, invoice review, and closeout actions.
  • Support compliance reviews, audits, and corrective action planning for assigned files.
  • Advise program stakeholders on acquisition strategy, procurement timelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor junior acquisition staff and quality-check their work products.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of federal acquisition or contracts experience, or 8 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination.
  • S. citizenship required to support this federal contract.


Required Experience

  • Demonstrated experience across multiple phases of the acquisition lifecycle (planning through closeout).
  • Working knowledge of FAR/agency supplement requirements applicable to civilian acquisitions.
  • Experience supporting source selection or evaluation panels.
  • Strong analytical writing and briefing skills for acquisition documentation.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience directly supporting a DOI, Interior Business Center, or other civilian shared-services acquisition organization.
  • FAC-C Level I or II certification.
  • Experience with commercial and IDIQ/task-order contract types.
  • Familiarity with civilian agency financial or acquisition systems.
