Here's how you will contribute to the success of the company

You will work closely with the Product Management and Development teams to expand and optimize vendor integrations within our client portal. You will be responsible for enabling the growth of our marketplace by balancing technical requirements and stakeholder needs to create a positive client experience.

In collaboration with the Scrum Master, you will bring rigor and organization to the development process through clear storytelling and documentation. You will ultimately be the champion of your product and be responsible for communicating our goals, objectives, pain points, and needs.

Here's what your day-to-day will look like in this role

  • Lead the scrum team as the Product Owner.
  • Ensure development efforts align with company and product-specific OKRs.
  • Foster and improve the client feedback loop to develop a deep knowledge of your market and to ensure products respond to market demands.
  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Contribute to the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities, in collaboration with other stakeholders.
  • Create engaging user stories by merging your analysis with the technical knowledge of the team.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to create, maintain and prioritize a product backlog according to business value or ROI.
  • Keep up to date with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends.

Here’s what you need to have and master to get the job

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Product Owner or Agile practitioner (an active certification is an  asset).
  • Experience in product management.
  • Technical diploma, certification or degree, or similar relevant field experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles, including tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the software development process (story writing, specs, documentation).
  • Sharp analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the Managed Service Provider (MSP) market is a major asset.
  • Fluent in English. French is an asset.

Reasons for the requirement of English: Sherweb has international customers and fluency in English is the only way to ensure proper service delivery to them. The main tasks related to this position require written and oral communication with an English-speaking clientele at all times.
