Job description

Overview (Why This Role?)
Hearst Health is seeking a part-time Graduate Research Associate, Clinical Outcomes to help quantify and communicate the clinical impact of our software, data, and decision-support solutions.
This role is designed for a student pursuing an advanced degree in public health, health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, health informatics, or a related field who wants to apply rigorous research methods to real-world healthcare questions.
The core question behind the role is straightforward but important: Do patients and healthcare organizations achieve better clinical outcomes when they use Hearst Health solutions?
Working with Hearst Health leadership and the Chief Medical Officers and clinical leaders across our businesses, the Graduate Research Associate will help turn that question into testable hypotheses, design appropriate analyses, evaluate real-world data, and develop credible evidence about the relationship between use of our solutions and clinical outcomes.
This is not primarily an academic research role. The objective is to produce rigorous, defensible evidence that can inform product strategy and, where supported by the findings, strengthen how Hearst Health communicates the value of its solutions to customers and the market.
The position is expected to require approximately 10–20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate an academic schedule.
Compensation: $50 an hour
This position is eligible for Remote Work.
