Location: Saint Louis, Missouri / Remote with travel
Duration: 7 months
Pay Rate: $80 W2 and $90 C2C (negotiable)

Position Summary:
UKG Pro WFM | Workforce Management | Payroll Integration

Description:
The UKG Pro WFM Functional Specialist leads the business analysis, system configuration, testing, and deployment of timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling modules. This role ensures that employee hours, shift differentials, and complex labor laws are accurately tracked and seamlessly passed to payroll systems.

Core Responsibilities
  • Requirement Gathering: Work with business stakeholders to document complex policies, union rules, and scheduling guidelines.• System Configuration: Build labor categories, work rules, pay codes, attendance policies, and shift patterns directly in the system.
  • Integration Management: Map datasets between timekeeping modules and core payroll platforms to ensure error-free data transfer.
  • Testing & Validation: Execute end-to-end user acceptance testing (UAT), parallel payroll runs, and hypercare support during deployments.
  • Compliance Maintenance: Update system rules to comply with local labor laws, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) updates, and union agreements.
  • Reporting Optimization: Build custom operational reports, executive dashboards, and real-time labor utilization metrics.
  • Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Platform Expertise: Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience configuring UKG Pro
  • Functional Knowledge: Deep understanding of workforce management principles, including accruals, shift bidding, and fatigue management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with advanced XML, SQL query writing, API data mapping, and interface development tools.
  • Certifications: Highly prefer candidates holding an official UKG Certified Professional credential.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to explain technical system limitations to non-technical Human Resource and Payroll executives clearly.
