This role focuses on reviewing sales-management content and workflows across realistic commercial scenarios. Selected professionals will assess sales strategies, quota plans, training materials, territory designs, customer-resolution approaches, and performance analyses for strategic soundness, managerial quality, analytical rigour, and practical feasibility.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Management

  • Evaluate sales strategies, management plans, and related work products for quality and accuracy
  • Assess whether proposed approaches appropriately support revenue and commercial objectives
  • Review sales priorities, team structures, and execution strategies
  • Identify weak assumptions, unrealistic recommendations, and gaps in sales planning
  • Apply professional judgement grounded in real-world sales management experience

Quota & Goal Setting

  • Review sales quotas, targets, and performance goals
  • Assess whether proposed targets are appropriately structured and internally consistent
  • Evaluate quota-allocation approaches across teams, territories, or customer segments
  • Identify unrealistic assumptions or poorly supported targets
  • Review alignment between quotas, resources, and broader sales objectives

Territory Planning

  • Evaluate sales-territory designs and allocation strategies
  • Assess territory structure based on market opportunity, workload, coverage, and commercial priorities
  • Identify imbalances or gaps in territory assignments
  • Review recommendations for improving market coverage and sales effectiveness
  • Evaluate whether territory decisions are practical for the intended sales organisation

Sales Team Leadership

  • Review scenarios involving sales-team direction, coaching, performance management, and resource allocation
  • Assess whether management approaches appropriately address team objectives and performance needs
  • Evaluate sales training and enablement materials
  • Identify gaps in communication, accountability, or team coordination
  • Review recommendations for improving sales-team effectiveness

Sales Performance Analysis

  • Evaluate sales reports, performance analyses, and supporting metrics
  • Review revenue, attainment, pipeline, territory, and team-performance information
  • Assess whether quantitative findings appropriately support stated conclusions
  • Identify analytical inconsistencies or unsupported recommendations
  • Evaluate performance trends and their implications for sales strategy

Customer & Escalation Management

  • Review sales-management scenarios involving customer complaints or commercial escalations
  • Assess prioritisation, communication, ownership, and proposed resolution approaches
  • Evaluate whether recommendations appropriately balance customer relationships and business objectives
  • Identify incomplete or impractical resolution strategies
  • Review escalation decisions for managerial and commercial soundness

Comparative Sales Evaluation

  • Compare alternative sales-management responses or approaches
  • Assess outputs based on strategic soundness, team-leadership rigour, and market-analysis quality
  • Identify meaningful differences between stronger and weaker solutions
  • Determine whether recommendations are commercially and operationally defensible
  • Provide clear reasoning supporting evaluation decisions

Structured Evaluation & Feedback

  • Review sales-management work products for accuracy and professional quality
  • Identify substantive strategic, analytical, managerial, and operational weaknesses
  • Distinguish material sales issues from minor presentation concerns
  • Provide concise, evidence-based written feedback
  • Apply evaluation standards consistently across assignments

Ideal Profile

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in sales management or a closely related commercial leadership role
  • Experience as a Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, District Sales Manager, Sales Director, Sales Operations Manager, or similar professional
  • Demonstrated experience directing sales teams
  • Experience setting sales territories, quotas, and goals
  • Strong experience analysing sales performance to inform commercial strategy
  • Practical understanding of sales-team leadership, territory planning, performance management, and customer escalation
