We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for experienced brand, creative direction, and marketing professionals with strong expertise in brand strategy, visual communication, creative development, and marketing collateral.
This role focuses on reviewing professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentation materials related to branding, creative direction, and marketing. Selected experts will assess outputs for strategic alignment, brand consistency, creative quality, factual accuracy, visual effectiveness, and overall professional credibility.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Positioning

Evaluate brand strategies, positioning materials, and related work products for quality and consistency

Assess whether messaging and creative recommendations align with stated brand objectives

Review brand narratives, value propositions, and audience positioning

Identify inconsistencies, unsupported assumptions, and weaknesses in brand logic

Apply professional judgement grounded in real-world brand strategy experience
Creative Direction

Review creative concepts, campaign materials, and visual communication approaches

Assess whether creative execution appropriately reflects brand identity and intended objectives

Evaluate visual hierarchy, consistency, clarity, and overall creative quality

Identify weak concepts, inconsistent execution, and aesthetic issues

Review whether creative recommendations are practical and professionally credible
Marketing Collateral

Evaluate brochures, presentations, campaign materials, sales collateral, and other marketing assets

Assess content structure, messaging, visual presentation, and audience relevance

Review consistency of branding, terminology, claims, and key messages

Identify factual, editorial, visual, or formatting issues

Evaluate whether collateral communicates its intended message clearly and effectively
Brand Identity & Consistency

Review materials for consistency with established brand positioning and visual standards

Assess use of messaging, tone, typography, layouts, and other brand elements

Identify inconsistencies across related documents and presentations

Evaluate whether different materials form a coherent brand experience

Review alignment between strategic intent and creative execution
Marketing & Audience Communication

Evaluate materials intended for customers, prospects, partners, or other audiences

Assess whether messaging is clear, persuasive, relevant, and appropriately structured

Review audience targeting and communication priorities

Identify confusing, unsupported, or ineffective messaging

Evaluate whether creative and marketing choices support the intended communication objective
Documents & Presentation Review

Evaluate brand and marketing documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy and completeness

Review presentations for narrative flow, visual hierarchy, clarity, and professional polish

Identify factual, aesthetic, editorial, and formatting errors
-
Assess whether charts, tables, graphics, and other visual elements communicate information effectively

Ensure key messages and recommendations are clearly presented
Structured Evaluation & Feedback

Assess assigned outputs against domain-specific quality criteria

Identify strategic, creative, factual, aesthetic, and presentation weaknesses

Distinguish substantive brand or creative issues from minor production concerns

Provide clear, structured written feedback explaining identified strengths and weaknesses

Apply evaluation standards consistently across different brand and marketing work products
Ideal Profile
-
5+ years of relevant professional experience in brand strategy, creative direction, marketing, brand management, creative strategy, or a closely related field

Experience as a Brand Manager, Creative Director, Marketing Manager, Brand Strategist, Creative Strategist, or similar professional

Strong practical understanding of brand strategy, creative direction, and marketing collateral

Experience developing or reviewing brand materials, marketing campaigns, presentations, creative concepts, or customer-facing collateral

Strong visual judgement and ability to assess brand consistency and creative quality

Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint / Google Slides

Strong spreadsheet and analytical skills

Native or professional fluency in English

Excellent written communication and ability to provide precise, structured feedback

Strong attention to strategic, creative, visual, and presentation detail

Master's degree or higher from a recognised institution is advantageous

Compensation: $70–$110/hour
