Job description

We're looking for an Application Support Analyst to ensure the seamless operation of our cruise technology systems.  In this role, you'll be the technical expert for our Marella Cruises fleet, managing critical applications that support both onboard and shoreside operations.

ABOUT OUR OFFER

  • Personal benefits: Attractive remuneration, exclusive travel perks & discounts, extensive health & wellbeing support, and more.
  • Flexible working: Work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We encourage a healthy work-life balance and offer hybrid or remote working models.
  • A career to shape: Opportunities to upskill, reskill and grow your career. Access the TUI Tech Learning Hub to level-up and reach your ambitions.
  • Expand your horizons: Participate in our tech communities and collaborate on global projects and teams.
  • Community: Get involved with incredible local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation and the Sustainable Tech Community.

ABOUT THE JOB

  • You'll manage and administer the MXP property management system across our entire fleet, ensuring stability, accuracy and reliability that directly contributes to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • As the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for cruise applications, you'll provide guidance and technical support to both onboard and shore-based teams, becoming the go-to person for all things MXP.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical and functional issues within assigned applications is part of your daily routine, ensuring minimal disruption to onboard operations while maintaining data integrity.
  • Working closely with business stakeholders and Delivery Managers, you'll gather requirements, test and implement new features and system enhancements that optimise how our teams use technology.
  • You'll create comprehensive documentation including manuals, user instructions and operating procedures, collaborating with onboard IT Officers to communicate processes effectively and build a valuable knowledge base.
  • Monitoring system performance and executing routine audits allows you to proactively identify areas for improvement while coordinating with internal IT teams and external suppliers to manage incidents, system updates and integrations.

ABOUT YOU

  • You have demonstrated success with systems support and maintenance, bringing solid technical expertise to the role.
  • Your organisational and problem-solving abilities are strong, paired with a customer-centric mindset and commitment to delivering high quality support.
  • You understand system processes and contexts well, particularly property management systems, ideally within the cruise or hotel industry.
  • Your capability in incident management, problem resolution and root cause analysis helps you get to the heart of issues quickly.
  • You're an effective communicator who can explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, fostering best practices and efficient system utilisation across teams.

From a workplace to a place to belong.  At TUI we embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion, encouraging everyone to come as you are, because together, our potential is limitless.
