The ideal candidate is a senior, hands-on engineer with strong front-end craft and a genuine passion for UI/UX and accessibility, paired with solid experience developing and supporting ASP.NET MVC applications using C# and SQL Server in a Windows environment. They are comfortable working independently in established enterprise codebases, leveraging DevExpress components where appropriate, and delivering well-tested, accessible, production-ready solutions with minimal ramp-up.
Required Skills & Experience
5β8+ years of professional software development experience, with a significant focus on front-end / UI development
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, with an emphasis on writing clean, semantic, maintainable markup
Demonstrated experience applying UI/UX design principles β information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, and usability best practices β to real product interfaces
Hands-on experience implementing and testing for web accessibility, including WCAG 2.1/2.2 (AA) and Section 508 compliance
Practical experience with ARIA roles/attributes, semantic HTML, keyboard navigation, focus management, and testing with assistive technologies (e.g., screen readers such as JAWS/NVDA/VoiceOver)
Strong proficiency in C# and the ASP.NET MVC 5 framework
Experience developing and supporting full-stack .NET applications in a Windows environment
Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design/data modeling and writing T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support UI features
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and core computer science principles
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating front-end interfaces with internal and external systems
Experience with unit testing and supporting QA, usability testing, and release processes
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and best engineering practices
Ability to analyze requirements, debug complex UI and cross-browser issues, and deliver reliable, polished solutions
