Feldera is redefining how data teams compute over changing data. Powered by an award-winning breakthrough in database theory (DBSP), our platform incrementally maintains even the most complex SQL views as data changes, even when pipelines have hundreds of joins, aggregates, unions, and even recursion. It has allowed leading enterprises to have always-on real-time insights over both live and historical data, with 10x lower cost and 100x faster time-to-production.
We’ve already signed an impressive roster of enterprise logos and are rapidly growing the team that brings this breakthrough to more customers.
We're looking for our first Head of Marketing to build and lead the function that turns Feldera's breakthrough into a category-defining movement. This is a player-coach role: you'll report to the CEO, set strategy and direct a small team (2-5), while staying hands-on in campaigns that move the number. You'll own how we go to market, with an emphasis on growth and demand generation campaigns that find, engage and convert technical buyers into predictable pipeline. Given you’ll be driving the marketing function, we are also seeking prior experience in at least one adjacent function (brand, product marketing or events). You’ll connect Feldera's technology to measurable business growth and be marketing to a technical, engineering-heavy buyer.
Own demand generation and growth strategy end to end: pipeline, campaigns, channels, and conversion.
Own brand and market presence: positioning at the company level, narrative, events, speaking, and community.
Build, hire, and lead a small team while personally driving high-leverage work.
Drive the number: demo requests, pipeline coverage, deal velocity, and conversion.
Drive the product marketing function to connect product launches to demand.
Partner with founders, engineering, sales, and vendors to align marketing with revenue.
Use modern AI tooling to work smarter and punch above the team's weight.
6-12+ years in B2B marketing, and experience managing 2-5 people.
Excited about foundational technology that helps engineering and data leaders at scale.
Significant experience in demand generation or growth marketing, and owned at least one adjacent marketing function out of PMM, brand, and events.
Player-coach: strategic enough to lead, hands-on enough to execute directly.
Strong storyteller with a track record of campaigns tied to clear business impact.
Significant depth and comfort marketing to highly technical buyers, especially in core data infrastructure.
Fluent with marketing automation and current AI tools.
Thrives in early-stage startups: resourceful, proactive, high-ownership.
Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States. We are unable to sponsor employment visas at this time.
We’re a small, fast moving technical team building a category-defining technology. A few things worth knowing before you apply:
Fully remote.
Flat organization with high autonomy, ownership and asynchronous collaboration. You’ll work directly alongside the founders.
Fast and honest. We move quickly, decide based on evidence, course-correct openly, and expect you to do the same.
Rewarded for impact, not tenure. We recognize what you ship, the outcomes it drives, and how much you raise the team's ceiling.
If this sounds energizing, do apply. If not, we’re probably not the right fit.
Competitive salary ($200-240k) & meaningful equity
Medical, dental & vision - 90% of premiums covered by Feldera
HSA & FSA
401(k)
Fully remote
After you apply, unlock the direct contact details of the people who actually make the call. A quick follow-up makes you 5x more likely to land an interview.
