Job description

• Design and deploy AI-powered workflows, agentic systems, RAG solutions, operational automation platforms, and internal productivity tools.
• Develop and maintain software across the KioWare, KioCloud, BillPay Kiosk, and QueueKiosk ecosystems using modern engineering practices.
• Build integrations between applications, APIs, databases, cloud services, payment systems, and third-party platforms.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify and implement automation opportunities that improve efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.
• Serve as a senior technical resource during customer meetings, enterprise architecture discussions, partner evaluations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
• Develop technical demonstrations, ROI models, implementation frameworks, and migration strategies supporting revenue growth.
• Support deployment, fulfillment, onboarding, and support teams through diagnostics, automation, telemetry, and operational tooling.
• Assist with architecture reviews, technical debt reduction, quality initiatives, CI/CD improvements, and AI-augmented software delivery practices.
• Contribute to AI governance, training, runbooks, and organizational adoption programs.
• Partner with the Director of Research & Development to evaluate technical priorities, architectural direction, and product roadmap initiatives.
• Provide senior-level technical guidance to development teams and assist in resolving complex engineering and integration challenges.
• Contribute directly to coding, code reviews, system design, testing strategies, and platform modernization efforts.

• Other duties and areas of responsibility that may be assigned.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive software engineering, systems architecture, or solution development experience.
• Strong experience with Python, SQL, REST APIs, system integrations, and enterprise application development.
• Working knowledge of AI technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with C#, .NET, Java, cloud-hosted applications, or related enterprise technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into practical technical solutions and measurable ROI.
• Excellent communication skills with experience supporting executive, customer, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience operating as a senior individual contributor within a software product development organization.
• Demonstrated ability to influence technical outcomes, mentor peers, and lead initiatives without formal supervisory authority.

Preferred Experience

SaaS platforms, kiosk or endpoint environments, Retool, Power Automate, LangChain, LangGraph, MCP-enabled tooling, sales engineering, solution consulting, and operational automation.

Salary range: $85,000 - $100,000 USD per year.
