Job Description:

At Job Duck, we are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Family Law Case Assistant who enjoys supporting clients, maintaining accurate records, and helping legal processes run smoothly. In this role, you will play a key part in managing client communications, organizing case information, and providing administrative support that allows attorneys and legal professionals to focus on high-value work. You will collaborate closely with the intake team while ensuring clients receive timely and professional assistance throughout their journey. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is organized, adaptable, and committed to delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced legal environment.

• Monthly Compensation Range: From 1,142 to 1,220 USD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide administrative support to legal team members

• Ensure accurate and organized record management

• Support intake operations during periods of high call volume

• Assist with lead qualification activities as needed

• Conduct client follow-up regarding discovery and case-related information

• Assist with electronic filing of legal documents

• Serve as a backup for the Intake Specialist by answering incoming calls when needed

• Participate in coaching, training, and development sessions

• Perform data entry and document management tasks

• Monitor and manage email communications

• Maintain and update client records and case information

• Communicate with clients after onboarding and assist with ongoing client support

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 working as a legal assistant

• Experience with Family Law highly preferred
• Experience supporting legal operations and client communications preferred

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

• Strong client service and relationship-building skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish

• Ability to follow instructions accurately

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to manage confidential information

• Attention to detail

• Ability to multitask effectively

• Professional and empathetic communication style

• Receptive to feedback and continuous improvement

• Problem-solving mindset

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong data entry and documentation skills

• Location and timezone: Remote, Pacific Standard Time (PST)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday
• Expected call volume: Moderate (may require to support with intake if needed)
• Software and Tools Required:
- CRM: Clio
- VOIP: DialPad
- Other: Slack, Google Drive, Lex Receptionist    

Work Shift:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM [PST][PDT] (United States of America)
