We are building a more accessible, more impactful model of higher education. We are a fast-growing, mission-driven organization creating transformational global experiences.

✨ About the Role

The role will serve as the lead operational expert on the University Partnerships team. Reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and EVP for University Partnerships, and serving on the department’s senior leadership team (SLT), this senior-level strategic role is designed to drive operational excellence, technology alignment, and strategic execution for key projects and initiatives within the UP team, and in alignment with organizational priorities.

As a key advisor to the CSO and the SLT, this individual will ensure that high-level business objectives are met, key results are tracked, and technology integrations are managed seamlessly. The role leads operational strategic planning for UP, keeping department-wide work aligned with Verto’s enrollment goals and broader organizational goals.

Additionally, this role oversees the Post-Verto Planning function. The ideal candidate is a dynamic operations expert and master project manager who is equally comfortable working with complex data systems, cross-functional stakeholders, and technical platforms to drive organizational growth.

πŸš€ What You’ll Be Doing

Operational Leadership

  • Strategic Reporting: Set up, configure, and oversee standardized reporting processes in Salesforce and external platforms to enable real-time visibility into performance metrics and partnership health in close partnership with Rev Ops and other key stakeholders.
  • Function Management: Oversee and manage the Post-Verto Planning function, ensuring systems and workflows seamlessly support student transitions to partner universities.
  •  Process Optimization: Identify and solve operational chokepoints, inefficiencies, and procedural causes in both performance and systems; simplify and optimize complex operational processes.
  •  Portfolio & Capacity Planning: Manage the UP portfolio, resource allocation, and capacity planning so the department can scale efficiently, aligned with meeting annual OKRs.
  •  OKR Ownership: Establish, track, and manage department-wide KPIs and OKRs; report on progress toward quarterly and annual goals to the organization. Ensure department is focused on achieving OKRs by removing barriers.

Project Management & System Enablement

  • Project Management: Provide senior-level project management for all large-scale initiatives, end-to-end projects, and operations aligned with the team's goals.
  • Partner Systems Ownership: Serve as the business-side product owner and tech liaison for all things related to Salesforce, Partner Portal, and automation enhancements. Ensure up-to-date training, SOPs, and other related documentation, and sources of truth are in place.
  • Technical Scoping and Business Process Development: Lead technical scoping and coordination of Partner Portal, Salesforce, and Slate enhancements, system updates, and ongoing optimizations to support partner operations, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders as applicable.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Academics, Technology, Admissions, Student Financial Services, Rev Ops, Onboarding, Marketing, and the Chief of Staff on key organizational initiatives and projects to ensure alignment and successful execution. Act as the central connective tissue between cross-functional teams and UP, unblocking dependencies and ensuring continuous alignment across teams.

Strategic Leadership and Chief of Staff

  •  Executive Advisory & Proxy: Act as a strategic advisor and sounding board to the Chief Strategy Officer; attend high-stakes meetings on their behalf, synthesize key takeaways, and ensure immediate follow-through on action items across UP.
  •  Special Projects: Lead ambiguous, cross-functional special projects from conception to execution (e.g., pilot programs, new initiatives) in close collaboration with the SLT.
  •  Initiative Oversight: Maintain a bird’s-eye view of all active strategic initiatives and identify and mitigate operational bottlenecks before they impact growth.
  •  Strategic Planning Cycles: Collaborate with executive leadership to design, facilitate, track, and report on annual and quarterly strategic planning cycles, ensuring departmental goals directly align with the organization's broader objectives.

🧠 What We’re Looking For

Must-have:
