Job description

We are currently hiring a full-time, Key Account Specialist in Las Vegas, NV.The ideal candidate must live in the Greater Las Vegas Area, Lincoln, Nye, White Pine counties, preferably Clark County*.  

The Key Account Specialist is responsible for increasing the availability and visibility of Boston Beer portfolio at key On and Off Premise retail accounts to generate depletion growth while adding value to our wholesaler and retailer partners. Primary focus is dedicated to multi-outlet local/regional accounts. 
*Please note that while this position is listed as “working remotely”, our sales positions are field based and require you to live within the territory listed to visit accounts, unless explicitly stated otherwise. 
What You'll Brew:  
  • Execute internal sales objectives & improve account conditions using BBC systems and selling process 
  • Learn and be proficient in beer industry knowledge, brewing, and BBC product styles 
  • Hunt for new business opportunities while growing current business in local/regional multi-unit chains and key accounts 
  • Utilize effective verbal and written communication with wholesaler, accounts, and coworkers including ability to deliver impactful presentations 
  • Use data to plan and identify opportunities across account base 
  • Build strong relationships with wholesalers and retailers 
  • Increased responsibilities of financial/account management while gaining bridge experiences 
  • Identify and develop Goals, Strategies, Objectives and Tactics for defined account base 
  • Working conditions vary greatly day to day due to customer facing nature of role 
  • May be the periodic requirement to work weekends and holidays to support the needs of the business 
  • Occasional travel for meetings and trainings 
  • Regular travel in the market to service retailers and wholesalers

  • Valid driver's license, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously 
  • Ability to lift and move cases of beer frequently 
  • Ability to climb, kneel, and stoop to arrange and display point-of-sale frequently 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree 
 
Level: 7 
At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $63,000 and $89,750. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location*. Additionally, this position qualifies for an discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
*There is a location adjustment of $2,750 that has been factored into the above salary range. The adjustment is specific to Clark County and will depend on where the elected candidate lives.
